    In the process of coming up with a Halloween costume- a process that has yet to deliver results- I suddenly came across a strange patch of regret over certain costumes I wish I'd worn when I was younger, like a Marvin the Martian suit, or Ms. Pac-man getup, complete with a trail of devoted friends/evil ghosts.
