Just in time for fall, the new TransFOURmer coat from the Rachel Rachel Roy collection is not only super chic, but smart and thrifty too! As seen in Real Simple magazine, the Transfourmer coat is one coat that can be unzipped and worn in 4 different ways. Remove the bottom for a chic motorcycle jacket look or take off the sleeves and bottom for a twist on a vest. The inside is lined with Rachel's signature graffiti print, for an unexpected pop of color. Fall is a fun time for fashionistas -- slouchy sweaters, pretty coats, cozy boots and warm, textured fabrics highlight the season. Let's take a look at some of the latest fashion trends and shopping deals for fall.

Hot Handbags: You don't need to spend a small fortune to get into the fall trends. These handbags for under $100 are on trend for the season. Look for bags with lots of texture -- studs, fringe, ruffles and pleats.

Sensational Shoes & Boots: When it comes to footwear, look for these warm colors that are perfect for cool weather. My favorite is definitely cranberry red -- a staple in my fall wardrobe. Velvet vampy shoes are also hot this season. If you are looking for boots, check out the coolest choices in fall boots, from flat riding boots to dramatic over-the-knee styles.

Hot In The Hive: Ninja Star Coat Hooks

    image
Alex Gambardella on Aug 18, 2009 6:19 AM PDT
Does your prissy Hello Kitty-adorned apartment need a little roughing up? If so, I've got the best thing to make your pad a whole lot more bad-ass: Ninja Star Coat Hooks. Made of super-strong nickel-plated alloy, the star is shaped to easily install into your wall and look as if you've survived a sneaky ninja attack right in your own home. See? Bad-ass. In fact, you're so bad-ass that after you survived said attack and dispelled the ninja from your pad, you decided to make a mockery out of his misfired weapons and hang your coats from them! True, most of your guests will probably assume they're just fun little decorations that you bought online ('cause you did) and ask where you got them, but they'll secretly be afraid to mess with you from now on, just in case.

    Price: $12.99 each
Who Found It: xgalexy was the first to add the Ninja Star Coat Hooks to the Hive.

March On With Our Top 5 Favorite Marching Band Jackets!

    image
Pauline Montupet on Aug 12, 2009 10:18 AM PDT
What do Jimi Hendrix, Christophe Decarnin of Balmain and Sienna Miller all have in common? They all love marching band style jackets! Beyonce and Rihanna have been spotted in the amazing (and very pricey) Balmain version and Sienna looked retro-cool in her Temperley London version. Finding an authentic vintage band jacket is hard to do, and sometimes the fit is less than flattering. Good thing designers have been turning out more modern and contemporary versions! Go subtle with some slight button or double-breasted detail, or go all out with some major gold trim and adornments. If you want to be truly authentic, check out Nasty Gal for a few great vintage styles. Check out the slideshow for our 5 favorite jackets that will keep you marching all fall long! Beautiful Pierre Cardin Creations for Vintage Fashionistas

    image
Mary Kincaid on Jul 31, 2009 10:25 AM PDT
When Pierre Cardin tried to make designer clothing more accessible for women by producing a ready-to-wear line in 1959, he created quite the scandal and was expelled from the Chambre Syndicale. But he didn't let the ire of those haute couture folks stop him! No, he continued to produce designs that were innovative and futuristic. And what gal wouldn't lust after his 1968 crepe evening gown with the built-in sculpted silver necklace and its $60,000 diamond! Cardin's work from the 1960s and 1970s captured his trademark minimalism, use of geometric shapes and exquisite tailoring and iconic pieces from these collections are still highly sought after by today's vintage fashionistas. Just click the slide-show to see a selection of fab vintage Pierre Cardin finds!
