    Think PINK this summer as we transition into fall. The '80s influence continues and we are loving the sizzling hot hues, especially neon hot pink. The stark contrast of neon pink with black looks fresh, fun, and girlie for clothing and accessories. Pair a hot pink shell blouse with an oversized black boyfriend blazer and skinny jeans, or go from head to toe in a hot pink asymmetric dress.     Kate Winslet made a serious splash this awards season, and I'm not just talking about taking home all the most coveted hardware and, quite remarkably on its own, being nominated in supporting and leading categories for two different films. On the red carpet, Kate made heads turn. Favoring solid colors and classic shapes, Kate always picks looks that flatter her hourglass figure. Her style is defined by clean lines (she is rarely photographed in patterns) but carries just enough interest to keep us constantly wondering what she'll wear next. Whether its Zac Posen, Dolce & Gabbana, Carmen Marc Valvo or Escada, she always looks good.     Girls' night out coming up? Hooray! Get ready for some good old-fashioned gossip, strong mixed drinks (mojitos or caipirinhas are mine for this season!) and a fabulous night out with your best friends. I love to up my fashion ante, especially when it's just the girls. It might be time to finally spring for the uber-cute Marc Jacobs "Love Story" clutch, which would be perfect with this Black Halo Cold Shoulder Minidress! Or I could go for a pop of bright with this gorgeous silk satin "Fiore" clutch from J. Crew with the adorable Rachel Pally "Carmela" dress.     Your co-workers make a plan to go out for drinks after work later in the week to celebrate finishing the most recent big project. Fun! There are a couple key rules for these events: 1) don't drink like a frat boy and 2) don't show too much skin! It's important to maintain a professional demeanor, but still, looking cute and fun for your night out is a must! You'll need an outfit that can transition with just a few quick accessory changes. For instance, if you start with the BR Monogram Collection tulip dress with a sweater for day, then you can easily do a shoe change for heels and make it a classy evening look.     Choosing a clutch or evening bag is tough. I mean, you hardly know where you're going to be on any given night, much less what you'll be wearing, so how are you realistically supposed to find a bag that will match a completely unknown situation? You could stick with basic black, because it's reliable and elegant, but honestly, it's a little boring (sorry black Lauren Merkin clutch sitting on my shelf, I'll make it up to you). You could pick up an excessively embellished number and stick to basic outfits to balance it out, but that's kind of restrictive.
