The Acrylic Lounge Chair is a modern twist on a design classic. Originally crafted by Charles and Ray Eames out of molded plywood this reproduction uses a modern material to show off the graceful bends and subtle contours. This chair is built to withstand years of use as shown in the Los Angeles Times article with Aaron jumping up and down on it. In 1957, Yanagi's Butterfly won the Gold Medal at the Milan Triennial and is considered to be one of the classics of furniture history.
