After much anticipation, A-Morir is now available at Karmaloop.com! Created in 2008 by designer and owner, Kerin Rose, A-Morir glasses are the IT thing to have right now! A-Morir is a successfully curated accessory line with a particular emphasis on Swarovski-encrusted eyewear. Not only are Miss Roses's pieces to die for, but they are intended to be so beautiful that a little part of the viewer dies inside, as the French would say, "une petite mort." Each painstakingly adorned pair covered in rhinestones, spikes, chains, lace, studs or pearls reflects the designer's love of the theatrical, the luxurious and most importantly, the glam! As seen in numerous music videos, such as on Rihanna in Jay-Z's "Run This Town" video and on Snoop Dogg in his "GangstaLuv" video, A-Morir is staking its reputation as a celeb favorite. Other clients include Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Cassie, Nina Sky, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and more! Styles to look out for are The Schubert, The Barracuda, The Original Love/Hate Convertible Chain Shades and The Love/Hate Convertible Pearl Shade Eyeglasses. Get yours at Karmaloop.com.

The Holidays Are Here! Help Me Choose The Prettiest Necklace ...

The holidays mean food, fun gifts and lots of parties and mingling with old acquaintances and new. It's the perfect opportunity to dress to impress! But, realistically, I cannot see myself donning a fitted dress or anything that would give away the fact that maybe I snuck back to devour that second piece of pie... ok, third. Instead, a simple outfit would serve as a backdrop to a beautiful statement piece, like a necklace. A unique and gorgeous necklace shows individuality, a sense of fashion and distracts from a belly full of stuffing and sparkling cider. The only problem? There are too many glittering pieces that I would love to own and wear out there! I've narrowed it down to my favorite three, from Anthropologie: the Roped Posies necklace, the Golden Festoon necklace, and the Frayed Diamond necklace. Take the poll below and help me decide which necklace I should have for the holidays!

Video Style Steal: Rihanna & Her Boys "Run This Town," Street ...

After all the relationship drama and Hollywood hype she's had to deal with in the past year, Rihanna is back -- and she's not coming quietly. In Jay-Z's latest single "Run This Town," also featuring Kanye West, RiRi makes it clear that she's armed and ready for the spotlight, stronger and fiercer than ever. The politically-charged video was filmed in New York's Fort Totten Park and depicts a chaotic mob revolt, representative of a more literal take on the song's title. While an exact replication of Rihanna's video get-ups may send more than a few quirked eyebrows your way, you can take her militia-style costumes as inspiration in perfecting your own look as a style soldier. Chic For Cheap: 20 Rockstar Looks for Under $20!

Flipping through magazines like Vogue, W, or Harper's Bazaar always seems to leave me wanting. They always showcase lust-inducing fashion and accessories that I wish, wish, wish were in my own closets and drawers. I flip through a few pages of a featured photoshoot and inevitably spot something (or many things) that I don't think I could possibly live without! I eagerly focus my attention on the fine print in the corner that tells you the item, where it can be found, and the price. The price kills me every time. Half a years rent for that soft, Italian leather satchel? I'm sure it's smooth as butter, but I can't sleep in it. Are those killer stilettos worth going without electricity and water for a few months? Almost, but not quite. I haven't gone that insane yet! But that little bit of logic is not enough for me to just let it go and forget about it. Lately, all the magazines have been showing rocker-inspired clothing and accessories that I'm sure I could pull off if only I had the funds. Chains, metallic hardware, black and white contrasting details, filigree designs - all beautiful and all outside my budget. But I will not be disheartened! The budget fashionista loves and appreciates high-end designers, but knows that an endless supply of money doesn't equal a great fashion sense and a limited budget doesn't mean you have to only have second-rate, un-trendy ensembles. Check out the slideshow to see how to incorporate the rocker-glam look into your closet without having to break open the piggy bank!

Fall Accessories Bring Silver And Gold Together At Last!

    image
Alex Gambardella on Sep 2, 2009 8:22 AM PDT
Whoever told you that silver and gold were clashing colors and therefore should never mingle within the same ensemble was seriously ill-advised! Though slightly unexpected, pairing silver and gold -- especially in the same piece -- is a bold and stunning combo, and it's popping up all over jewelry and accessories trends for the upcoming fall season! Mix things up with a chunky braided chain necklace, or tie your outfit together with a multicolored stud belt, among a variety of other chic options. While I certainly don't encourage you to simply pile on all the jewelry you own or accessorize without a second thought at color-coordination, just be aware that the two metals don't repel each other like opposite ends of a magnet, and can look great layered and mixed-and-matched. Take a look at the slideshow for some of the hottest multi-metal accessories!

Get That Edgy, Rocker-Inspired Look With Chain Accents!

To chain or not to chain? These days, it's not even a question! I used to picture a black, quilted Chanel bag with braided chain straps whenever I would hear about chains in fashion. Chanel chain straps are still feminine, but hint upon notes of edginess. With the influx of sexy-goth vampires and emo-rocker fashions, however, chains are now popping up everywhere from hair pieces to fancy footwear and all things in between! It's not so much the single large strand like a Dookie Chain ala RunDMC or the early b-boy days, but rather multiple, skinny links of varying widths and lengths that are adorning clothes and accessories and popping up on every other photoshoot. Smaller, more delicate chains are all the rage right now and look great dangling from boots and pumps and really step up the air of danger in an outfit when placed on what would be basic tops or bottoms. Wear them on as many pieces as you'd like, or have it be the detail on just one. Sexy, edgy looks are in so check out the slideshow for some awesome chained pieces!
