Great deal. Super cute earrings!
This is an original pair of cha-cha earring from the 1950's, signed JAPAN on the backs.
The silver-tone setting is a mid-century climber style which is very retro and uber cool. This means they are worn up along the earlobe, with regular style clip backs. See the earring-stand pictures to see how they look.
Cha-cha beads are all silver in color. As expected, where the security pins and beads meet there is some wear to the silver color on the beads. Very common. What is very important to look for with this type of jewelry is the condition of the metal on the pins, especially the ends. Often the metal pins securing the beads will have a lot of corrosion. These earrings have no corrosion. EXCELLENT NEWS! And no missing beads either.
The silver beads pick up the reflection and colors all around them. Very fun to wear.
Made in Japan.
