Video Style Steal: Beyonce And Lady GaGa Team Up For "Video ...

Beyonce has always been known for topping herself when it comes to putting on a good show and looking fab while doing so, but for her latest video "Video Phone," B's got a secret weapon aside from all those Nerf gun props -- Lady GaGa. The result? Lots of gyrating, futuristic flair, and of course, more costume changes than you can accurately keep track of. And while a collabo featuring two of today's boldest pop divas is undoubtedly a recipe for fierceness, it's also bound to feature lots of unattainable designer duds... and a lack of suitable pants. If you're ready to tackle suspicious stares and a whole slew of credit card bills, check out Jean Paul Gaultier's latest collections for Beyonce's exact video outfits (good luck!), but if you're looking for an actual wearable interpretation of her killer stud boots and trench-inspired outfit, look no further than the slideshow!

"Twilight" Madness: Which "New Moon" Merchandise Is Creepiest?

    image
Alex Gambardella on Nov 21, 2009 9:19 AM PST
At the risk of sounding super dorky, I'll admit that I've read the Twilight series... more than once. And sure, if I had to pick, I guess I'd say I'm on Team Jacob, but I mean... I wouldn't exactly call myself a Twi-hard. So what if I saw "New Moon" at midnight?! Alright, fine, I'm kind of a Twilighter... but I'm definitely not alone! After all, it's hard not to succumb to the year's ultimate guilty pleasure when you're surrounded by it everywhere you look -- and in light of the "New Moon" Westwood premiere last Monday, "fanpire" fever is undoubtedly in full effect if it hasn't been already! T-shirts, jewelry, makeup... you can hardly go into your favorite store anymore without seeing something emblazoned with R-Pattz's face on it. However, despite my borderline inappropriate crush on Taylor Lautner, I'm a firm believer that there are certain boundaries that need to be observed when it comes to obsessing. Sure, the very nature of the vampire-centric series is eerie in itself, but some Twilight toys and t-shirts take fangirl freakiness to a whole new level. I mean, what is the purpose of a life-size cardboard cutout? And no matter how badly you may want your own icy Edward Cullen to snuggle with, do you really need a duvet cover with his face on it? Vote below on what "New Moon" paraphernalia is the most ridiculous!

CollegeCandy Shows Us How To Pull Off The Formal Fauxhawk

I'm not really a fan of traditional up-dos. You know, the ones with the spiral curls that are pinned neatly together and sprayed with enough hairspray to destroy the ozone. Maybe it's just me, but I've never really been into pageant hair. I prefer something a little sleeker and sexier, not to mention something that doesn't quadruple my carbon footprint. When it comes to formal or special events, I'm all about taking risks with hair and makeup. The bigger the risk the better the payoff, right? That couldn't be more true with the look Kim Kardashian is rockin' on the red carpet. If you've got a formal coming up (or you just want to try something different on a Saturday night), this fauxhawk is sophisticated, fun and super easy to do. You know you've reached the height of inner and outer beauty when you're honored by the likes of Glamour Magazine as one of their proclaimed Women Of The Year. The annual event, which honors twelve women of all ages and walks of life, took place at New York City's Carnegie Hall for its 2009 edition. Among its impressive array of honorees were Rihanna and Amy Poehler, who seemed humble to be in one another's presence, yet looked equally fabulous upon arrival! After all, if you're going to be in the company of such iconic women as Maya Angelou and Maria Shriver, the least you can do is be on your style A-game! Lending fellow ladies their support were supermodel Iman and Katharine McPhee, who were also gorgeous in their evening attire... but they can't all be deemed best dressed! Vote below on which lady took the fashion lead! Photo Credit: PR Photos

Camilla Belle Wears Alexander McQueen Spring 2010

At the debut of the futuristic dystopian flick "2012," Camilla Belle bravely donned an Alexander McQueen creation from his Spring 2010 collection, which premiered in Paris a few weeks ago. The entire Alexander McQueen collection featured a futuristic look and reptilian themed prints. Belle's dress was a short dress with a puff-ball skirt and gem trim on the sleeves. She wisely accessorized this attention-grabber of a dress with a minimal theme in mind. A simple bangle, plain earrings, and nude platform heels ensured that accessories would not compete with the dress. It would be easy to overdo it with chains or diamonds or "look-at-me" shoes. Also in attendance at the movie premiere was American Idol season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert. The soundtrack to the movie features his song "Time for Miracles." Critics describe the song as "perfect" for the movie in which the world faces a huge cataclysmic event and those left have to fight for survival. Written by Roland Emmerich and Harald Kloser, the movie's cast includes John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Thandie Newton. Woody Harrelson and Danny Glover are also included in the cast of thousands. The film premiered November 4 in Los Angeles. This week it is scheduled for release in Belgium, France, and the UK. Celebs Are Loving Super Short Long Sleeved Mini Dresses!

    image
Pauline Montupet on Nov 12, 2009 10:26 AM PST
Every since Christophe Decarnin sent his fembots down his spring and fall runway shows in minis with sky high hemlines and long sleeves it seems like celebs can't get enough. Blake Lively has been spotted in a seriously shoulder padded black sequined number and Sienna Miller rocked a majorly distressed version in gold at the party for her Broadway show "After Miss Julie." But its not just Balmain that's playing the long sleeve mini game. Chloe Sevigny's been out and about in new designer Kimberly Ovitz's nude bandaged mini and Alexa Chung looked perfectly minimalist in red Calvin Klein. One thing is for sure, all of these dresses have dangerously high hemlines, but the more conservative, covered-up look on top keeps it balanced. I mean mom always said to cover up, right? Check out the slideshow to see our top 5 favorites.
