Video Style Steal: Carrie Underwood's Boots Walk All Over ...

Carrie Underwood has come a long way since her "small-town girl with the big voice" image on American Idol. Lucky for that image of hers, she's ditched the demure deer-in-headlights look and swapped it for an assertive attitude to match her sultry voice. I guess a load of confidence is easy to come by when you have a series of hit singles and Chace Crawford as your former arm-candy! Speaking of exes, in her latest video for "Cowboy Casanova," Carrie hits the saloon looking retro-fabulous to warn girls about a bad boy's particularly womanizing ways... and shows him a thing or two! Don't forget -- Halloween is officially in the dust, so don't go full-on saloon girl when you try this look. Instead, stick to inspired pieces like a bustier dress, cute leather booties, and feather accents that only hint at Carrie's costume-y video. Watch the video, and then check out the slideshow to see how you can go western without looking like you stepped out of a time machine.

Video Style Steal: Alicia Keys Is Sad But Sultry In "Doesn't ...

Alicia Keys has quite a lot of success under her belt for a woman at 28 (but then again, what else would you expect from a girl who was accepted into Columbia when she was 16?), with her shelf full of Grammy awards and four chart-topping studio albums. Aside from her musical growth (and ascending movie career), we've also seen quite a progression in her hairdo -- from neat braids to unruly curls and now sleek and straight in her latest video, "Doesn't Mean Anything." But her hair isn't the only thing that's polished and chic. In a sparkly tunic, Alicia is classy as usual, and while she may be mournful and lonely in the video, I know I'd be much more cheerful if I had a hot pair of stiletto boots like hers! Check the slideshow to see some Alicia-inspired looks from her latest hit vid.

Video Style Steal: Miley Cyrus Gives "Party In The U.S.A." A ...

Hannah or Miley? Blonde or brunette? Love her or hate her? Such questions often come to mind when the name Miley Cyrus is mentioned... and nowadays, especially with her new album on the rise, that's quite often. And whether or not you enjoy the teen's campy Disney roles, her musical stylings, or her knack for photo scandals, you gotta admit, "Party In The U.S.A." is pretty damn catchy. While the video's swing set settings and Miley's tiny cut-off shorts and leather vest are a little unseasonably summery, I can't help but get in the concert party mood whenever I watch it... and let's face it -- it's never the wrong season for a dusty parking lot dance party! Click "See Video" to watch "Party In The U.S.A." for yourself, then take a look at the slideshow to see how you can cop Miley's cowgirl video ensemble. Photo Credit: MTV.com

    Influential International Style: Charlotte Casiraghi

If there was one icon I could choose to dress exactly like, Princess Charlotte Casiraghi would be it. The girl has it going on - royal pedigree, killer style, and hey, she's an editor-in-chief of Above magazine. Her style can be described as classically tailored, yet with a flair for rock and roll details. Whether she's rocking skinny jeans and boots, and a gorgeous scarf, or making a public appearance in a fabulous black dress with lace detailing, she can make any outfit look spectacular. Having a busy day? Channel Charlotte and pick up your hair in a messy bun, and wrap a scarf like crazy around your neck over a simple t-shirt. Voila! You have a fabulous outfit... and didn't even have to wash your hair. Check out my slideshow for some style tips from the royal herself! Photo credit: PR Photos

Children in High Heels -- Yes or No?

OK, we've sat idly by while people pierced their infants' ears, painted tiny faces with makeup and lipstick, and took their small children along on Mommy and Me spa days. But we have to draw the line at tot-size high heels. No one should have to totter in uncomfortable footwear before their time. (Especially when your mom is taunting you with sensible flats !) What do you think: Are Suri's high heels and fashion-plate look cute as a button, or freakin' weird? Check out the full article and leave your opinion by clicking over to our friends at Lemondrop!

Celebs Strut Their Stuff In Catwalk Creations

There used to be a clearer distinction between models and actresses. You could do both, but usually one skill set was stronger than the other. These days, though, many of our favorite celebs are gracing the covers of magazines and pages of photo-shoots in positions that used to be mainly reserved for the models. Celebrity faces are seen all over the place now in venues and mediums outside of movies and movie promotions. Being seen and celebrated for their art (music and movies) was one thing, but now people are turning to celebs for style sense and fashion tips. Logically, celebrities are answering by stepping out in trendy ensembles taken straight from the runway and parading themselves around for their adoring public. Diva superstar, Beyonce rocks this sparkly Balmain dress and it looks a lot better on her than it does on the model! Check out the slideshow for more celebs strutting their stuff in runway creations! Which ones looked better on the celeb than the model? You be the judge!
