These are the most endearing vessels BTC Elements has ever seen. We cannot count the possible uses for these boxes, especially if we want to get any work done. We gave it a go and these were our favorites: cotton balls, paper clips, playing cards, thumbtacks, bags of tea, or coins. For the indecisive, they are great for holding air and looking adorable. We really love how each lid is made especially for the box it covers up. Choose from three sizes. 3" W X 3" H $66.00 4" W X 3" H $72.00 4" W X 4" H $84.00 Made from reclaimed copper Fairly traded out of Central Mexico The coppersmiths of Cobre Importers gather and melt discarded copper into a solid block, and then hammer it into these beautiful and intricate pieces. The importers are proud members of the Fair Trade Federation, and currently work with 7 different workshops, which employ 1 to 7 artisans, most of whom are related. Each piece is proudly signed by its creator.

Eco Style: Beat the Heat in These Sexy Earth-Friendly Bikinis!

by meg donohue

When it comes to shopping, I'm not usually a creature of habit -- I tend to shop when and where the mood strikes. I do, however, have three annual fashion traditions: I always buy something new to wear on my birthday and New Year's Eve (something about turning over a new leaf, I suppose), and I always buy a new bikini in the summer. This year, in the spirit of saving the world while perfecting my tan, I'm stoked to see there are lots of "green" bikinis on the market. Bikini designers are using eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, bamboo, soy, and even factory surplus materials from a factory that made Olympic speed skater outfits! I'm glad to see someone's thinking about responsible beach fun, complete with cute side-ties and ruffles! Check out my SLIDESHOW of 6 eco-friendly bikinis and hit the beach in savvy style...
