My Sugarland: Your One-Stop Destination For UK Designers!

Why is it that Brits always seem to have it better when it comes to fashion? Maybe it's just that they have a much cooler and edgier selection of designers and boutiques. The boutique My Sugarland, brainchild of stylist Zoe Lem, has been a favorite haunt of London's fashionistas and a mandatory stop-by every time I'm overseas. They have the best selection of hard to find Brit designers such as a PPQ, Steve J & Yoni P, and Belle Sauvage, just to name a few. Now, for all of us non-Londoners, we're in luck since they've opened the cyber doors of their online store. They have easy navigation tabs to help you find exactly what you're looking for and they offer styling tips and secrets (so maybe we do have a chance of getting that effortless Kate Moss-esque street style)! It's one seriously fashionable one-stop online shop!

    Influential International Style: Lily Allen

Lily Allen, pop's talkative, oversharing princess, is a serious style maven. Showing a clear penchant for luxury brands like Chanel, Prada and Yves San Laurent, yet comfortable wearing Chucks and a cartoonish headband with them, she certainly has a look all her own. In the same way that Madonna did in the 1980's, Lily Allen is probably owed back royalties for style "ideas" taken and mass-produced at Urban Outfitters. How does she do it? She starts with a beautiful piece, no matter if it's a gorgeous top or a fantastic prom-style dress. She brightens the outfit with colored accessories and bold, thick bling. Influential International Style: Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet made a serious splash this awards season, and I'm not just talking about taking home all the most coveted hardware and, quite remarkably on its own, being nominated in supporting and leading categories for two different films. On the red carpet, Kate made heads turn. Favoring solid colors and classic shapes, Kate always picks looks that flatter her hourglass figure. Her style is defined by clean lines (she is rarely photographed in patterns) but carries just enough interest to keep us constantly wondering what she'll wear next. Whether its Zac Posen, Dolce & Gabbana, Carmen Marc Valvo or Escada, she always looks good. Influential International Style: Jemima Khan

At first blush to all of our US readers, the name Jemima Khan may not ring a bell. However, the fabulously dressed British socialite and writer has been a fixture on the high style scene since the 1990's. Once married to cricket player Imran Khan, and a former long term girlfriend of Hugh Grant, Khan had her front row seat reserved at fashion shows way before through her titled mother, Lady Annabel and her financier father Sir James Michael Goldsmith. With a social calendar as jam-packed as hers, Jemima Khan is dressed to the nines day in and day out. Says Khan, "I couldn't define my style -- that's impossible. I like comfort and elegance with a bit of glamour thrown in. If I like something, I'll wear it for years." Great advice to only purchase items you really love! Influential International Style: Emma Watson

Knowing full-well that she could take advantage of an Invisibility Cloak at any given moment, Emma Watson's status as a rising international style icon is even more impressive. The Harry Potter star is all grown up, and as the new face of the House of Chanel, is rumored to also be replacing Keira Knightley as the face of Burberry. How does a wizard rise to a style queen seemingly overnight? By choosing classic shapes, flattering neutrals, and always looking age appropriate. Whether it's a risk of length or a gorgeous backless gown, there is always a little something extra to Emma Watson's red carpet looks. Also catapulting her into success? Refusing to follow makeup trends and instead choosing flattering shimmers, and backing it all up with a classic updo or soft waves for a hairstyle. Influential International Style: Kate Moss

It's no coincidence that Kate Moss is always 2-3 months ahead of the curve. She sets the curve, and designers scramble to put clothes on the market that mimic her eclectic, always surprising style. Moss seems to live by only one key rule of fashion, which is to wear beautiful clothes authentically. She seems to effortlessly throw together outfits that you never think would work. Whether it's layering neutrals over grey skinny jeans and red booties (months before anyone is even wearing black ones!), sporting heavily layered jewelry, or throwing a blazer over anything, Moss keeps visual interest without seeming over-dressed. She always seems comfortable, her clothes look tailored to fit her body, and you most often see her wearing flats. Her lesson to be learned is wear what makes you feel comfortable. Fun fact: Moss is only 5'7", and though very slight, her style can be mixed and matched to flatter many body types! Check out my slideshow for ways to adopt Kate Moss's eclectic style!
