Revamp Your Top Drawer With Retro Lingerie!

If the idea of retro lingerie makes you think of dreadful terms like "foundations" or worse, girdles, keep reading. Lacy little things have their place in many a top drawer, but retro lingerie, with a little more fabric and function, is just as alluring. Think along the lines of high-waisted panties and boyshorts, longline bras, tap shorts, and feminine ruffles- fun, right? The simpler shapes and modest cuts convey an innocence lost in the heaps of skimpy lace found in most stores these days, and even if you're far from innocent, it's fun to play the part every once in awhile. For a retro twist on a modern favorite, try Hanky Panky's hi-rise panty- it's perfect for high waisted jeans and skirts. Betsey Johnson's cami and tap pant set is a sweet take on this throwback trend, and if pale pink and ribbons are your thing, you'll love the charming 'Amelie' bralette from Undrest. Sure, these don't exactly agree with your SO's unofficial "less is more" mantra, but this was never really about them, was it? See the slideshow for my favorite retro underthings.

Rihanna Plays Peekaboo With Her Lingerie, & You Can Too With ...

Ever since I graduated from the realm of training bras long ago, I've had a love for fun lingerie... despite the fact that my decolletage sort of demands undergarments that are more functional than flirty and flimsy. And with the rise of peekaboo lingerie, namely bralettes, I can't help but lust after the lacy trims that have been peeking out from under low-neckline sweaters, boyfriend blazers, and oversized tanks -- another trend Rihanna rocks admirably! While they are meant to serve as lower-maintenance lingerie for the more modestly endowed gals, bralettes are primarily for show with their bright colors, bold patterns, and scalloped edges. Make sure you don't go overboard with the whole idea of show-and-tell skivvies, though; the idea is to leave plenty to the imagination and give onlookers just a glimpse! Luckily for me and all you other ladies who need a little extra "shelving," although bralettes don't offer much support (in fact, it would pretty much defeat their purpose), they can be layered to still achieve the peekaboo look without necessarily having to go commando. Check out the slideshow for some of my favorite little bralettes!

Enter To Win Workout Outfits From Body Language!

Let's face it- no matter how much you tell yourself that you love to work out, there are days when the treadmill looks like a torture device. Honestly, thirty minutes on a conveyor belt going nowhere isn't exactly the best motivator (though come to think of it, watching Paula Deen dump a Costco-sized package of butter into a pan on the attached television screen kind of is- anyone else work out while watching Food Network?). But if your exercise ensemble consists of high school gym shorts and a ratty college tee, you may be wearing the source of your less-than-stellar outlook. In other words, get some cute gym clothes! Body Language sportswear is a line of exercise apparel unlike any other- it's comfortable, functional, and actually sexy if you can believe it (and once you see what they're giving away, you will). Think along the lines of flattering camis, tops with sexy strap details, fold over shorts, and colors that don't scream 1985. They've even been featured on Desperate Housewives! We've teamed up with Body Language to give two lucky winners the best workout clothes they'll ever own- read on to find out how you can score a set for yourself!

Make Your Intimates Go Incognito With Our 7 Favorite ...

Excluding those gals who have the unique ability (and required lack of shame) to go around commando on top, we've all found ourselves in the dilemma of finding a super-cute top or dress... but no bra to wear with it. Since I require some serious support when it comes to my undergarments, I've tried just about anything to make do with what I've got at the last possible minute -- sewing kits, safety pins (why did it take them so long to invent the Brabuddy?), tucking straps into my armpits, etc. -- but now that I'm a little older, I've learned that the easiest solution is to just shop wiser! Why spend money on a separate strapless bra when you could buy the ultimate convertible bra that's both strapless, strapped, racerback, and halter all in one? And instead of resorting to emergency double-stick tape for those how-low-can-you-go necklines, why not just buy a convertible plunge bra that can serve as your go-to undergarment for any cleavage-baring little number? Convertibility doesn't always equal convenience, however, as some crazily-shaped bras can sacrifice much-needed comfort and support, so I've compiled some of my favorites to weed out the good from the gimmicky! Check the slideshow for the best bra finds that will have you appear smooth and strapless in any outfit!

Fergie Wears marlies|dekkers Design During TMF Awards

    image

Earlier this month at the TMF Awards (held this year in Rotterdam, the Netherlands), Fergie showed off a custom made look by famed Dutch lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers. Dekkers took her already unique triangle push-up bra - yup, the one Fergie wore in the "I Gotta Feeling" video - and gave it a one-of-a-kind twist by adding silver chains. The bra on its own is pretty spectacular, with slim elastic bands that secure a silver triangle, beautifully framing the neckline. Paired with the singer's leather-embellished black pants, it was one show-stopping, seductive ensemble with a dash of futuristic edge, perfect for the Black Eyed Peas' newly released album, "The E.N.D." We can't help but love this look - marlies|dekkers lingerie is too incredible to keep under wraps. See more from the ultra-talented designer here!
