As Halloween quickly approaches, we know you are thinking about what to wear to your costume party. This year, steampunk is oh so hot. Brooklyn Indie Market's Steampunk II is the place to pick up some indie designed pieces this weekend. You will find indie brands Rocklove, Steamed Punk Laboratories, Once Lost and 19Moons among others. Show off your new funky look at the after party at The Way Station -- Brooklyn's first steampunk bar and performance venue. If you can't make it to Steampunk II this weekend, we did a little surfing and found some great Halloween-themed steampunk jewelry. Check out our slideshow for some of our top picks!

Surrender Yourself To Boston's Liberty Hotel!

For a hotel that's barely a year old, The Liberty Hotel certainly has an interesting past. Formerly called The Charles Street Jail, it housed some of Boston's most notorious criminals for over a 100 years. Today, after an extensive restoration, the Liberty Hotel is one of the poshest hotels in all of Boston, and you don't have to commit a crime to stay a few nights. With spectacular views of the Charles River, the Liberty Hotel has 298 rooms and four food and drink options for everything you need to unwind and relax. The jail theme of the hotel resonates throughout, but it certainly makes you feel like a privileged inmate. The "do not disturb" door tag reads "solitary" instead, breakfast is served at the casual restaurant, "Clink," and drinks are aplenty at popular lounge bar, "Alibi." The hotel is close enough to rub elbows with politicians on Beacon Hill and within walking distance to high-end shopping on Newbury Street. To check out a former jail you'll want to stay in forever, take a look at my SLIDESHOW!
