The next best thing to owning a vintage Bob Mackie gown is owning one of his colorful archived sketches and now, you can actually purchase the latter online.
Today Bob Mackie Design Ltd., responsible for costuming such legendary divas as Liza Minnelli, Diana Ross and Tina Turner, has put 46 prints from throughout the last 50 years of the designer's storied career up for sale on their website. They're available in 14 by 17 inches for $69 and 21 by 25 inches for $179.
Those really aren't bad prices for what you're getting - a piece of fashion memorabilia that pays tribute to the days when Bob Mackie's name was synonymous with Hollywood glamour and over-the-top style, both on the stage and on the red carpet.
Most people wouldn't actually hang one of Cher's outrageous black leather and lace ensembles or an old costume from The Carol Burnett show in their closet, but with this latest offering from Mackie, at least you can have a little bit of that star quality hanging on your wall instead.
