Multi-Finger Rings Add Bling Without The Bulk

What girl doesn't love jewelry and accessories? The right jewelry can make even a simple outfit of jeans and a t-shirt seem trendy and more dressed up. I'm definitely guilty of wearing a lot of jewelry all the time with necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings on all at once. Although there are millions of beautiful rings out there though, that is the one item that cannot be piled on in multiples without running the risk of looking a certain Beatle. Cocktail rings were all the rage and still a great piece to add shine and glamour to your ensemble, but the new craze for your digits is the 2-3 finger ring. They're unique and allow you to wear a little bling on more than one finger comfortably and stylishly. Plus, they kind of resemble glorified brass knuckles so make a little more room in that purse by throwing out the pepper spray and just don one of these pretty bad boys instead! Hot In The Hive: Bling Band Aids

While I'm not sure I'll ever understand why rapper Nelly thought it was fashionable to wear a band aid on his face, there's something about these Bling Band Aids that really floats my boat. I don't know if it's the Swarovski crystals, the variety of colors they come in, or the fact that they're fairly reasonably priced considering their "bling" factor, but I just can't help but think they're pretty sweet. I'm not saying I'm going to start wearing them on my face (or anywhere for that matter) when I'm not even wounded, and I'm certainly not going to jump for joy every time I nick myself shaving and have an excuse to wear one, but the little sparkles have me sort of smitten. You have to admit, they're a lot cuter than those Hello Kitty bandages from Target... and that's saying a lot.

The Budget Stylista: Don't Be Fooled by the Rocks That I Got!

Jewelry can make or break an outfit. This is fact. It's a great way to spice up your usual uniform (jeans, black v-neck, black flats - I know it all too well), assuming, of course, that you don't go overboard and look like you went shopping in your grandma's closet (tchotchke heaven). This season there is no better way to reinvent some old pieces in your wardrobe than by adding some bling bling. Right now jewelry is big, it's bold, it's bedazzled, jeweled and animal printed. It's also ridiculously overpriced at so many places. But those aren't the places you are going to be shopping, because it is so easy to find pieces for cheap that look like they belong in J.Lo's closet. Read: bling blingin' on the cheap cheapin'. So before you go spending $150 on a necklace you claim will give you seasons of love, come to terms with the fact that in 12 months time, you will more likely than not have moved on out - Jeffersons style - to something that's a lot less animal printed. So why spend $150 when you can get the same bangin' look for $15? Yeah, I thought so. Want to see more blingin' budget jewelry? Click over to our friends at College Candy!

Hot In The Hive: Diamonds On My Neck Necklace

Ever since Marilyn Monroe famously sang a breathy rendition of "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" in the 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, that one phrase has been the motto for the women who love their diamonds. Sure, every girl would love to be draped in jewels by Harry Winston or Tiffany's, but can we really afford it without creditors hounding our every step? There's no need to be disheartened because there's more than a fair share of wallet-friendly bling out there! Take a look at the Diamonds On My Neck Necklace for instance. For less than $25, you'll get a cutout brass diamond shaped pendant. A sure conversation piece, you can wear it alone or pile it on with the rest of your faux-bling! It's not a substitute for the real thing of course, but shouldn't your real best friend be someone you can actually have a conversation with?

Hot In The Hive: Swarovski-Crusted XBox Microphone Set By ...

A little bling never hurt... unless of course you decide to spend a whole month's rent on that little extra dazzle. Apparently Crystal Roc, known for their Swarovski bling-embellished musical equipment and the most gloriously bedazzled sets of headphones I've ever laid eyes on, is now targeting the fashionable video gamers/musician wannabes in addition to their professional singing clientele (including the likes of Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Leona Lewis). Made for the popular XBox singing game Lips, and also compatible with select versions of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, this limited edition studded mic set is due out later this year and destined to have gaming gals channeling their inner pop diva. But based on the size of its rumored price tag, I'm thinking that maybe those rare 100 sets reported to be in circulation are best saved for those who already have a comparable income to spend on such lavish geeky luxuries. After all, you can't exactly moonlight as an open mic XBox singer to help pay for them (but maybe some day).

Hot In The Hive: The Swarovski Crystal "Bling-Kini"

While many of us are hitting up Target and the sale racks at Victoria's Secret to stock up on bargain swimwear this season, others overseas are opting to splurge on more impractical poolside pieces, such as The Anita by Pistol Panties, for example, a suit made exclusively for London-based Selfridges department store. Made with 5,000 Swarovski crystals, the appropriately-dubbed "bling-kini" doesn't officially go on sale until later this week (for about $2986 in American money), yet stores in London, Manchester, and Birmingham already have rapidly-growing wait-lists of cost-fearless crazies who can't wait to get their hands on one. I guess if you have three months worth of rent to spare, there's nothing wrong with trying to live a little -- as long as it doesn't involve swimming, because that's strictly off-limits in this morbidly-priced maillot! So if you happen to be strolling along the beach and see someone who resembles a glistening stained glass window headed for the waves, do them a favor and stop them before they dump $3000 down the drain (as if they haven't already). In my humble opinion, I say that if we can't even swim in it, they could have at least made it cute!

    Price: Ridiculous.
