Atlanta's Design Museum will launch an exhibit devoted to entirely to t-shirts starting tomorrow. Titled to "To a T," this showcase offers up some of the best, avant-garde tee makers in the country. Including Pecan Pie Couture, our fave Black Black Label, Epidemik Coalition, Project Alabama, hand-tailored shirts from Snerko, et al. this is the coolest show we've heard of in ages.
It's amazing to see how the simplest and most common items in our cultural wardrobe (t-shirts, jeans, sneakers) have become luxury items worthy of placement in a musuem. We're for it. Design is everywhere.
