Hearst Ranch got its start in 1865, when George Hearst, a Gold Rush miner and later a U.S. senator, acquired ranch land in San Simeon, California. Hearst built a legacy of quality breeding and sustainable land stewardship that continues to this day. The ranch now comprises 80,000 acres, making it one of the largest working ranches on the central coast. Certified by the Food Alliance, the ranch raises free-range cattle living a natural roaming existence as foragers and grazers, feeding only on native coastal and prairie grasses. In addition to enhancing the flavor of these New York strip steaks, this nutritious, all-natural diet makes the meat rich in vitamins and healthful Omega-3 fatty acids. The hand-cut steaks are shipped frozen. Each approx. 12 oz., 1 1/2" thick. Set of four. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.
