Hot In The Hive: Eyeko Cosmetics Vintage Nail Polish (Looks ...

Thinking back to the Chanel Fall 2009 runway show, I can't really recall any of the details other than the colors of the models' nails. Their bright jade green fingertips took my breath away and I knew it would be the next must-have nail polish color. Fast forward to present day and I'm still trying to find a suitable duplicate of the sold-out shade, so I have to say my heart raced more than a little when I encountered this tempting promotion from Eyeko Makeup. This super cute and affordable makeup company boasts a collection of eyeshadows, mascaras, lip glosses, and nail polish. I've tried their famous Eyeko Cream which gives me a iridescent glow when I don't feel like putting on any makeup. I've returned yet again, to snag a few of their latest nail polishes and discovered they have their own version of a jade green nail polish called Vintage. Best part? It's not even for sale! Instead, they're giving it away to anybody who buys 3 or more Eyeko products (which isn't hard to do). Just enter VINTAGE in the checkout box when you order by Monday 11/23!

CollegeCandy Shows Us How To Pull Off The Formal Fauxhawk

I'm not really a fan of traditional up-dos. You know, the ones with the spiral curls that are pinned neatly together and sprayed with enough hairspray to destroy the ozone. Maybe it's just me, but I've never really been into pageant hair. I prefer something a little sleeker and sexier, not to mention something that doesn't quadruple my carbon footprint. When it comes to formal or special events, I'm all about taking risks with hair and makeup. The bigger the risk the better the payoff, right? That couldn't be more true with the look Kim Kardashian is rockin' on the red carpet. If you've got a formal coming up (or you just want to try something different on a Saturday night), this fauxhawk is sophisticated, fun and super easy to do. Hot In The Hive: Blinc Eyebrow Mousse

For anyone who suffers from too-sparse brows (or is dealing with the consequences of past over-tweezing -- guilty!), I've got the perfect product to get your arches back to their full Brooke Shields potential (...or not quite so bushy). Blinc's "Fountain of Youthful Color" Eyebrow Mousse not only fills sparse brows with water-resistant, natural-looking color, but also keeps them in place the whole day through and treats skin with its anti-aging and conditioning properties. Plus it comes in six different colors -- from light blonde to black -- to suit just about anyone's brows. Unlike some products that either disappear halfway through the day or have you looking like you drew them on with a marker, this eyebrow mousse will stay put and look natural while it nourishes!
