Summer can be the busiest time of year for many of us. Three months of vacation, travel, weekend excursions, surprise visits and spontaneous road trips! All those days at the beach, evening concerts and other balmy night activities sure are fun, but keep us busy and running all around! What is the best way to stay looking and smelling so fresh and so clean (clean) if there's no time to stop by the house in between things? Beach season doesn't just give girls an excuse to indulge in the hottest swimwear picks; this season, men have got every reason to put some cash down on a closet-ful of summer swim shorts! Bold colors are best, and a print of some kind, be it plaid or flowery, is most flattering if found in design patterns that are a tad more intricate -- the big white hibiscus shapes on the plain-colored-background long board shorts were a hit back in the day, but this summer, that same suit has been brought to a new loudmouthed level. Which is why Bermuda shorts are so genius. They're basically a fashionable way to to hide your flaws, keep cool, and still achieve a dose of summer style. I love a wardrobe piece that allows you to be stylish, summery and professional. Pair your Bermuda shorts with a tunic blouse and a pair of embellished flat sandals. Not everyone should wear short shorts outside of the realm of surf and sand, so Bermudas are the way to go to reconcile the need to wear warm weather clothes with the need to be, um, modest.
