New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010: BCBG Max Azria

BCBGMAXAZRIA kicked off the start of New York Fashion Week with nothing but gorgeous dresses parading down the runway. The popular mini bandage dress made appearances in bright coral and rich purple with sheer insets. (I had to double check to make sure I wasn't at Herve Leger!) Designer Max Azria played with colorblocking with solids and abstract prints which reminded me of a Jackson Pollock painting or crashing waves on the beach. I'm looking forward to seeing the loose t-shirt dresses and asymmetrical hems in-stores and on our favorite celebs. As a matter of fact, two dresses are already available for purchase on the BCBG website! The models carried small clutches with big tassels hanging off which is definitely one of the next must-have party bags. As for hair and beauty, all the models had their straight hair tucked behind their ears with fresh and natural looking makeup. Click on my slideshow to see my favorite looks from the runway!
Celebs: Amanda Bynes, Joanna Garcia, Solange Knowles, Amerie, Keri Hilson
