The Latest Medi-Spa Skincare Technology- In Your Pajamas!

The fountain of youth is even closer than before... and now, you don't even have to leave your house in your quest. The hottest at-home skincare device is the Marvel Mini, by Ageless Beauty, and it harnesses the power of light to deliver results for a mild price tag in comparison to spa and dermatologist treatments. But the biggest question on everyone's mind is... does it really work? Curiosity got the best of me. I wasn't willing to withstand the pain or down-time of in-office treatments such as Titan or Thermage- and I didn't really think that my skin was looking like it needed something THAT drastic, either. A little kick-start perhaps? Click READ MORE to hear about my Marvel Mini experience!

    Color Queue: Passionate Purple Eyes

If you have not yet fallen for the dazzling array of vivid clothing, shoes, bags, belts and sunglasses that are deleriously prevalent this season, the color purple may be what final drags you in. Not the movie, girls... the color! In all of it's seductive mysteriousness, moodiness and glamorous flair. There is a perfect purple for each and every one of you, and this purple belongs however you dare to apply it€“ whether in a dreamy wash of color, a romantic smoky smudge, or a bold streak€“ on your eyelids.

Shades of purple, violet and aubergine reigned supreme on the runways at Thakoon, Behnaz Sarafpour, Bottega Veneta, Christian LaCroix, and Valentino- the most dramatic look (and one of my favorites) being the stark ultraviolet halos worn by blue-eyed model Siri Tollerød, at Behnaz Sarafpour. Sephora.com features a similar look as part of their homage to brightly colored makeup this season. According to Jerrod Blandino, celebrity makeup artist and creator of Too Faced Cosmetics, "Purple shadows make blue eyes look bluer, green eyes look more brilliant, and brown eyes look lighter. This season's purples sizzle with iridescent pigments that add a sexy and futuristic metallic edge."

Women in ancient Greece colored their cheeks with crushed mulberries and red beet juice to make them appear more youthful, while ladies of Great Britain's Victorian Age resorted to pinching theirs. Thankfully, today we have a plethora of much more convenient ways to give our cheeks a youthful bloom of color... and this spring, there's no better way to do that than with a vivid, clear and bright pink, coral or red! There's no need to fear "clown cheeks" because with a light hand and the correct application method, you can give yourself a fresh and innocent glow in just a few easy steps.
