Be One With The Woodsmen And Warm Up In A Trapper Hat!

I'm not gonna lie -- while the cozy cable knits and warm faux fur of a basic trendy trapper hat look too comfy to pass up, this winter's hottest accessory isn't necessarily for everyone. It takes a certain winter style to pull off this bundled-up woodsy look, especially since it can easily bring to mind childhood memories of getting wrapped up like a Christmas present every time you wanted to play outside. The key is to not take the trend too seriously -- treat trapper hats like a casually thrown-on accessory, instead of a frostbite-killing survival tactic. When added to a full-on set of snow gear, the look is a little more functionally overboard than fashionable, but with just a thermal and a pair of rosy cheeks the look is cute without looking costume-y or childish. Fall is my favorite season of the year because I can wear cute boots, peacoats, and scarves galore. However, I have to wait while the fickle San Francisco weather decides whether we're going through one last heat wave or if it's finally going to get chilly. In the mean time, I've been window shopping online for some new scarves. I've got long and short scarves, but don't own any infinity scarves. Also known as circle scarves or loop scarves, these scarves are one big knit ring that you can loop around your neck. Hang it over your neck once like a casual necklace or wrap it around twice (or more) to protect you from the cold. I've found infinity scarves ranging from under $15 to $350! Go Wild With A Faux Fur Vest This Fall!

My favorite boho-chic models and celebs like Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and of course Rachel Zoe have all been seen throughout the years wearing fur vests. A fur vest is a fun trendy piece to keep around to add a little punch to an otherwise boring jeans and t-shirt outfit. I'm always tempted to buy one for myself, but I'm skeptical about the vest making me look chic rather than like a bulky Eskimo. It also doesn't help that I don't agree with buying fur when plenty of faux fur options are available. So I got to searching for animal and cruelty-free fur vests that look like the real deal and found tons at every price point. Trust Urban Outfitters to have a super shaggy fur vest for only $88.
