In April 2007 Australian Company, Cara&Co, opened its first store in Russia. Cara&Co cannot be labelled; It´s neither a boutique, nor a shop, nor a department store. But it combines these three elements into a concept store that contains intellectual fashion, art, food and music in a truly inspiring environment. Such a unique space has an equally unique premise, and Cara&Co is located on the grounds of the Winzavod amongst art galleries and factory spaces. The notion of the concept store first emerged around 10 years ago in Paris with the op ening of Colette, and later in Milan with Corso Como 10, followed by London Dover Street Market. This was a time when the fashion market was dominated by global brands and logos, and concept stores allowed the individual to breathe, and let their own taste prevail.
