Celeb Favorite: The Catherine Malandrino "Leggero" Draped Blouse

For Hollywood's most stylish stars red carpet originality is a must, but sometimes that can get tricky when a designer creates something so fabulous that everyone wants to be seen it. Feast your eyes on this gorgeous black and nude tulle "Leggero" draped blouse from the Malandrino Resort Collection 2010 that Gabrielle Union, Mary J. Blige, Estelle and most recently Kerry Washington have all been spotted in. The major appeal of this blouse is that it's ultra luxe and trendy without the wearer looking like they tried too hard. "The layers of jersey tulle over silk makes clothes that whisper, the draping above a fitted cut allows movement, and the transparency in subtle tones speaks about understated femininity," says New York designer Catherine Malandrino (pictured below far left), who dresses stars like Mary J. Blige and Estelle regularly. If you feel fashion copycatting is the biggest form of flattery, then don't be afraid to rock this sexy blouse too! The Leggero top, $950, is currently available at Catherinemalandrino.com. See more at Essence!

    Influential International Style: Daphne Guinness

Daphne Guinness, heiress to the Guinness family fortune, sure seems to know what she's doing. Quite simply, she's a haute couturier's dream. She's open to all sorts of eclectic, wacky, detailed styling - and has the collection to prove it. Although she seems to prefer a simple color palette of blacks, whites and creams, they never appear the same way. Whether it's a kerchief neckline, Jetson-esque cap sleeves or leopard print detailing, Guinness can pull it off in spades. As one of the world's most prolific collectors of haute couture (what wouldn't you give to also hold that title?), she's a risk-taker, and often a winner of the fashion set. Rather than sticking to any rules, she simply has fun. Think Alexander McQueen meets Karl Lagerfeld meets Vivienne Westwood. Check out my slideshow for a sampling of Daphne Guinness' style! Tyra Banks and "America's Next Top Model," watch out! Bravo's modeling competition show, "Make Me a Supermodel," is back for a second season premiering tonight! The show will be hosted by the dashing model Tyson Beckford and feature judges such as French fashion designer Catherine Malandrino and one of my favorite models from the '90s, Jenny Shimizu. Sixteen aspiring supermodels will be competing to win the title, $100,000 and a contract with New York Model Management. Will you be cheering for tall, lanky and geeky med school bound Colin? Or are you placing your bets on Amanda, a single mom who lost all her baby weight gain in only a month? Watch the video and see these budding models already half naked and preparing to be measured. I certainly don't envy them for that nerve-wracking experience! Be sure to watch the rest of the show every Wednesday at 10/9c on Bravo!

Celeb Style Steal: Get Vanessa Hudgens' High School Hottie Look!

Actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens has a signature style that usually rests on the simple, accessible, girl-next-door sphere. She always looks tasteful and trendy, but not in a wow-inducing, memorable sort of way. However, all that changed at the Teen Choice Awards where Vanessa got intimately in touch with her inner sexy siren. Decked out in a tiered, curve-hugging tiered Catherine Malandrino minidress, studded Christian Louboutin mary-janes, and a blend of elegant and edgy accessories complemented by smoldering makeup and super-sleek locks, this High-school Musical star proved she was totally deserving of the Choice Female Hottie Award and gave us an impossible-to-forget, jaw-dropping look that's just too hot to not to replicate! Check out my SLIDESHOW to steal Vanessa's smoldering style!

While she's no longer the permanent red carpet fixture she was once notorious for, Lindsay Lohan was out in full force to celebrate Sephora's 10th Anniversary, looking more fabulous than ever! Wearing a multi colored sequined Catherine Malandrino minidress, Lilo borrowed a play from her 'BFF' Samantha Ronson's style play-book by topping the look off with a black fedora and threw in a play of her own by injecting some sweetness into the look with a fun pair of black Mary-Jane pumps. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get Lindsay's "Return to the Red Carpet" look!
