Which CW Starlet Looked The Hottest At Teen Vogue's Young ...

Somehow Teen Vogue's annual Young Hollywood Party seemed so much more laid-back without having to watch Lauren Conrad run around backstage on the verge of tears like a chicken with its head cut off. While I'm sure there were plenty of other interns slaving behind the wings making sure it all ran smoothly, the event was much more enjoyable from our view on the red carpet. After all, what's a Teen Vogue party without the chance to really check out the entrance ensembles! With all the black, chrome, and grey dresses and pantsuits, I couldn't help but ask myself, has fall finally arrived, or is everyone just feeling "blah" tonight? And also, who are some of these people? I had to give credit to CW's newest bad girl, Katie Cassidy, for brightening the mood with a seriously colorful corseted number... while her fellow station-pals Jessica Stroup and AnnaLynne McCord kept it cool in monochrome. Vote below on which CW actress repped her re-make show the best on the red carpet! Photo Credit: PR Photos

Go Bold In Electric Blue Like Jessica Stroup

    image
Sabrina Newman on Sep 27, 2009 5:19 AM PDT
At the Melrose Place launch party in L.A., 90210 star Jessica Stroup was definitely one of the night's standouts. Jessica wore a gorgeous electric blue cowl-neck minidress from Jenni Kayne topped off with an embellished black belt. Given the high-octane color of the dress, Jessica refrained from adding more color to the mix, opting for a sleek black Sergio Rossi clutch and a killer pair of cutout pumps. Keeping it simple with regards to accessories, she cut it off at one gorgeous cocktail ring from Siera. A slightly slouchy minidress like this one is extremely versatile- wear it as a tunic and layer it over leggings or skinny jeans for a daytime look, or pair with opaque tights, pumps, and a sharp blazer for a sophisticated day-to-night style. You really can't go wrong with this color either and it's one of the few bright shades that flatters just about any complexion. Check out my SLIDESHOW to get this standout style!

I'm convinced that I know more than anyone exactly how hard it is to find the perfect real leather moto jacket at a reasonable price. It seems like everyone else in the world already has one that they're rocking on the street daily... so where's mine? Well, thanks to fashionable LA girls like Audrina Patridge and Jessica Lowndes, proclaimed fans of playful French design team For Joseph, I may have find my perfect match... or two. Or four. With their variety of styles and details, from pocketed bombers to biker-chic exposed zippers, it's hard to choose which of their trendy, celeb-approved options I'd want for my go-to jacket. And considering their reasonable price range, I probably wouldn't have to pick just one (though that's probably not a good idea). Check out the choices on the For Joseph site and be prepared to fall in love!

    Price: $326-392

Mila Or Jessica: Which Star Shined Brighter At The "Extract" ...

While director Mike Judge is known for catering mainly to the "manly" demographic with male-dominated masterpieces like "Beavis and Butt-Head," "King Of The Hill," and "Office Space," the ladies certainly stole the spotlight at the premiere for his latest jaded employee flick, "Extract." And while the two brunettes are surely stunning in pretty much anything they wear, their metallic minidresses definitely helped amp up the otherwise lackluster red carpet! Mila Kunis, the film's leading lady, shimmered in a Matthew Williamson dress and grey patent pumps, while "90210" star Jessica Stroup was glitzy in a gold t-shirt dress from Notte by Marchesa. While we love seeing two contrasting takes on the metallic trend -- Mila's soft pastel and Jessica's flashy edge -- we just can't have two queens of the red carpet! Which People's Choice Awards Look Gets Your Vote?

    image
Lisanne Silverman on Jan 10, 2009 9:11 AM PST
The 35th Annual People's Choice Awards were held this past Wednesday at LA's Shrine Auditorium and to be honest, I tuned in for about 10 minutes before I got distracted by something on the Food Network (sorry Queen Latifah!). But I definitely logged on later to see what everyone wore because everyone knows that the stars' outfits are the real reason we all tune in anyway. I wasn't exactly blown away by any of the looks- then again, the PCAs are a more casual affair- but there were a few dresses worth noting, namely the ones worn by Carrie Underwood, Jessica Stroup, Olivia Wilde, and Marisa Tomei. I want to know which one is your favorite! Photo credit: PR Photos

Are you the type to pull together a Halloween costume at the last minute? Or perhaps you don't have to cash to purchase one of those pricey costumes? Well, I have the perfect Halloween costume idea that you can find buried in the depths of your closet, underneath a decade of old fads and tried trends. Or reenact everyone's favorite TV series that is quintessentially nineties- Beverly Hills, 90210!
