Which Front-Row Fashionista Looked The Fiercest At Fashion Week?

Even just from a cursory flip-through of Fashion Week photos, it's easy to tell which stylish starlets just can't stay away from the Bryant Park tents. And whether you're a celebrity, designer, model, writer, or shopaholic, there's no pressure to look your best like there is at New York Fashion Week! Rumer Or Rachel: Who Wore Her Stella McCartney Blazer Better?

Fashionistas who invest in a Stella McCartney piece are probably looking forward to an outfit that's sexy, stylish and unique... Unfortunately, when you're fashionable and famous, it's not rare to find someone spotted on the red carpet wearing the same thing! But you can't really blame the actresses who were inadvertently playing "twinzies" for the day -- both Rumer Willis and Rachel McAdams looked hot in their Stella McCartney Lace Noir blazers, and both succeeded in making it their own at their respective events! Rumer wore hers at the "Sorority Row" premiere, belted over a pair of tight black dress pants and suede pumps, while Rachel rocked hers overseas at the Deauville Film Festival, tucked under a high-waisted skirt with black peep-toes. Both chic red carpet looks, but who wore it best? Vote below on which actress you think did the Stella blazer more justice.Photo Credit: PR Photos

A. Rumer's look was sexy & sophisticated -- just the right amount of skin.

B. Rachel made the blazer young & fun, yet elegant enough for the red carpet!

Mila Or Jessica: Which Star Shined Brighter At The "Extract" Premiere?

While director Mike Judge is known for catering mainly to the "manly" demographic with male-dominated masterpieces like "Beavis and Butt-Head," "King Of The Hill," and "Office Space," the ladies certainly stole the spotlight at the premiere for his latest jaded employee flick, "Extract." And while the two brunettes are surely stunning in pretty much anything they wear, their metallic minidresses definitely helped amp up the otherwise lackluster red carpet! Mila Kunis, the film's leading lady, shimmered in a Matthew Williamson dress and grey patent pumps, while "90210's" Jessica Stroup was glitzy in a gold t-shirt dress from Notte by Marchesa. While we love seeing two contrasting takes on the metallic trend -- Mila's soft pastel and Jessica's flashy edge -- we just can't have two queens of the red carpet! Vote below on which shiny ensemble was more stellar! Photo Credit: PR Photos

A. Mila Kunis's dress is soft & pretty with just the right amount of shimmer!

B. Jessica Stroup's mini is young & fun, especially paired with the booties!

Which Celeb Guest Was Most Fashionably Fired Up For JC Penney's "I Heart Ronson" Launch?

We're all about a hot recession-friendly designer collabo, and in tough times like these, we're definitely not the only ones! In honor of Charlotte Ronson's new line for JC Penney, "I Heart Ronson," family, celebs, and socialites alike gathered at NYC's Lighthouse for barbeque fare, beach volleyball, and killer dance tracks, thanks to the designer's famous DJ siblings, Mark and Samantha. The collection's fall line is said to include lots of fun florals and floaty blouses with on emphasis on flirty and feminine, low-maintenance style. And while the designer and her wardrobe were naturally the stars of the evening, plenty of stylish stars were present to help share the spotlight. Mischa Barton and Alexa Chung were among some of the launch celebration's fashionable attendees, decked out in their favorite Ronson duds. Vote below on which party guest you think stole the spotlight! Photo Credit: PR Photos

A. With her fun skirt & coordinating heels, Mischa Barton is back on the style scene with a vengeance!

B. Genevieve Jones practically glows in her tiered top and chunky necklace.

C. Zoe Kravitz is young & fun in a floral frock and blue pumps.

D. No one does understated elegance like Alexa Chung!

Which Designer Demonstrated The Best Personal Style At "The September Issue" Premiere?

This past Wednesday night, New York's Museum of Modern Art was abuzz with some of the world's most chic elite as they mingled at the NYC premiere of The September Issue. The film, which hits theaters on Friday, documents the inner workings of Anna Wintour and her Vogue team as they slave over the release of the hugely-anticipated annual Fall issue of the fashion bible. To celebrate the movie's release, style icons of Hollywood and the design industry alike graced the red carpet, and although it's normally their clothing that fights for the attention of the cameras, the designers themselves embraced the limelight in person to honor the occasion. Among some of the fashion favorites in attendance were Carolina Herrera (hand-in-hand with Oscar de la Renta), the always-polished Vera Wang, and Zac Posen, who didn't hesitate to throw a few "top model" poses in the paparazzi direction. Vote below on which designer you think most stylishly held up the fort for the fashion industry! Photo Credit: PR Photos

A. Vera Wang looked sleek and chic, & her shoes added the perfect pop of color.

B. Leave it to Carolina Herrera to accessorize perfectly on and off the runway.

C. Zac Posen rocks the marching band jacket and the fierce poses too!

D. Rachel Roy looked flawless in a simple yet flattering fitted dress.

How Do You Prefer Brad: White-Hot Or Dark & Handsome?

This past week has been a big one for Brad Pitt (then again, when isn't it a good week to be Brad Pitt?) with the recent Hollywood premiere of his latest film, Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds. Decked out in head-to-toe black, save for a pair of gold-rimmed aviators and some goatee scruff, he looked sharp as always and accessorized flawlessly with leather-clad Angelina Jolie on his arm for nearly the entire night. Despite all the excitement, he wasn't too busy to lend support to pals Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams at the NYC premiere of The Time Traveler's Wife just two days later -- only this time dressed in head-to-toe white... with a similar pair of aviators and the same scruffy facial hair. Uh, Brad? What's with the monochromatic menswear? While we understand the desire to match and coordinate, that doesn't mean you need to wear all the same color... especially when these suit shades can hardly even be considered "colors!" I guess there's no use complaining -- the man still looks good, no matter how much variation he seems to lack. Personally, I enjoy him most in his wide-open bathrobe in Fight Club, but since that's not an option, vote below on which one-color ensemble you like best: Brad in white or Brad in black? Photo Credit: PR Photos

image

A. Definitely white -- there's nothing cleaner than a crisp white suit!

B. Black for sure -- gotta love the unbuttoned dress shirt!

C. Who cares about Brad? No outfit of his is complete without Angelina on his arm!

Amy, Claire, Kim, Or Katherine: Whose Shoulders Shook Up The Red Carpet?

After a refreshing first two months of summer sun, celebs and fashionistas alike are taking every opportunity to show off their sun-kissed shoulders, whether on the red carpet or just on a typical night out on the town. To suit the season, trendy tops and dresses in all shapes and silhouettes specifically designed to highlight your upper torso have been popping up everywhere, from one-shoulder gowns to draped off-the-shoulder numbers. More and more starlets are daring to bare their "blades" as a sexy statement for their big-night occasions on the red carpet, including Katherine Heigl at her recent premiere of "The Ugly Truth." Even fairer-skinned beauties like Amy Adams and Claire Danes are rocking the look in the spirit of the last half of summer! Are exposed shoulders the new, more subtly sexy alternative to cleavage? Vote below on who you think gave the hottest cold shoulder. Photo Credit: PR Photos

A. Katherine Heigl looked summery-sexy in a one-shoulder sequined dress.

B. This draped off-one-shoulder gown made Amy Adams look like a goddess!

C. Kim Kardashian's peekaboo shoulder top was mysteriously chic!

D. This white strapless floor-length dress bared Claire Danes' seriously shapely shoulders!

H&M Kids: What's Hot For The First Day Of School?

I have to admit I was pretty lucky in terms of not having to endure any particularly embarrassing first day of school outfits growing up, with the exception of the first day of fourth grade cowgirl outfit incident- I promptly insisted on choosing my own outfits from that day forward. Needless to say, had H&M been around at the time, the process of back to school shopping and outfit planning would have gone much more smoothly- and stylishly! Let's face it, the "my kid looks cute in anything" saying doesn't apply to humans past age six, and elementary schoolers can be a discerning crowd. Kids need a few great back to school outfits to carry them confidently through the upcoming fall season, and H&M is where it's at! Get a head start and vote below for your favorite H&M back to school look!

A. A long sleeved ruffle dress with embroidered bib: cute and casual!

B. Leggings in solids and prints: layered or on their own, they make the outfit.

C. A sweater with heart pockets: is anything sweeter than this?

Who Was The Most Chic She-Geek At This Year's Comic Con?

If you're not familiar with Comic Con, despite what the media and the fangirls may have misled you to believe, it is not actually a weekend-long festival dedicated to shirtless film clips of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (believe me, I would have been there if it was). The annual event, which took place in San Diego last weekend, has traditionally served to honor the best in comics, action figures, superheroes, and anything sci-fi and fantasy in film and television... and boasts the biggest concentration of nerds in one place next to a Star Trek Convention (I say that with love). However, ever since the recent rise of R-Pattz, Comic Con has gained a much broader following among the preteen female fanatic demographic, much to the disgusted dismay of faithful convention-goers who preferred the event before it was tainted by anything "Twilight." But the event wasn't all vampires and pocket protectors. Sexy Hollywood starlets like Scarlett Johannson and Megan Fox helped add a little style sense to the arena while promoting sci-fi flicks "Iron Man 2" and "Jennifer's Body," respectively. But who held up the fort most fashionably for the girlie-geeks? Vote below on who you think made the most supernaturally sexy appearance. Photo Credit: PR Photos

A. Megan Fox did "Jennifer's Body" justice in a metallic boyfriend blazer.

B. "Iron Man 2" star Scarlett Johansson kept it simple-sexy with a belted dress and peep-toe heels.

C. "Twilight" gal Ashley Greene showed off her very un-vampire tan in a hot pink dress.

D. Anna Faris looked super-cute in a one-shoulder tiered dress.

The Crop Top: Love it or Lose it?

In the fashion world, it's "what is old is new again" all of the time. Everywhere I turn, it seems like the cropped top is one of those "new" old trends that's coming back with a vengeance! They were on the runways (Alexander Wang & Victoria Bartlett, for instance), in tons of editorials, and now it seems like the lynch pin of '90s fashion is even popping into stores! After years of t-shirts and tops getting longer and longer, are we ready to raise the shirt hemline, bare the midriff again, and show off some skin? While the trend seems sexily adorable on tall Eastern European models in the pages of Vogue, is it going to be able to translate to mere mortals? Crop tops can be a great option with high-waisted pants and skirts, as you don't have to tuck in all that excess fabric. But what happens with tighter pants? What's going to hide a woman's worst enemy... the muffin top? Just the thought of wandering the city streets with my belly bare makes me want to lock myself in my apt with my ab roller!

image

A. Love it! A few sit-ups and I'm ready to rock it!

B. Oh, no! Leave the bare midriffs in the '90s!
