Who is your favorite actor/actress?
Dead tie between Kate Blanchett and Rachel McAdams, for different reasons, though they are both transcendent, beautiful, full of emotion and soul, and they are damn good at their jobs!!!!

 

I can't leave the house without
A book. Riding the train would be hell without it.... Oh wait, riding the train is still kind of hellish.. oh well, what can a girl do?

Best concert I've seen recently
Treasure Island Music Festival, July 2007, San Francisco. Unbelievable location with the concert stage silouhetted against the SF skyline at sunset, beautiful weather, burning man atmosphere, a great crowd, and killer bands. Absolutely the best day of music I have experienced in a long time.

 

Favorite recent movies
Heima, a concert film of Sigur Ros. After a world tour, the band returned home to Iceland, where they performed a dozen shoes at random, strange, wonderful, undisclosed locations, mostly for family and friends. The result is a beautiful DVD of stunning imagery, haunting music, and intimate portraits of the band members.
