Check out my style because...
My style is eclectic and fickle. There is something for everyone. Sometimes I like to dress like a boy, and sometimes a girl. I am a grown up who hasn't forgotten her main fashion influences:Punk Goth and Mod, but doesn't want to dress like a teenager either. I like to thrift more than shop retail-for political and economic reasons, but Stylehive and magazines like Bust and Nylon are great for inspiration.

I'm taking walks, talking to friends, doing yoga and other forms of exercise, spending time with my family

I hate it just as much as the word "diva" Grrrrrr!

Who is your number one style icon?
I really can't decide My number one movie fashion influence is Cabaret.

 

Where do you shop the most?
I thrift once a week. I believe in thrifting because it is recycling, you don't support sweatshops, and it is a creative way to dress. I recently sold an Azzedine Alaia dress I got thrifting on eBay for big bucks. However, when I can't find what I need, I'll either go online to shop, or visit Urban Outfitters or H&M, which are two stores here that I can afford. i also occasionally go to American Apparel. I'm not going to make my kids go hungry for the sake of fashion!

 

Color I rock the most
It used to be black, but I'm wearing lots of color now. Purple is my favorite.

 

If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
I can't decide between a lonely tract of land in the Scottish highlands, or a tropical island (because I like to snorkel). probably Scotland though.
