This day of the dead skull espresso cup is one of my favorite new designs! This small cup is 2" x 3" with a small handle and perfect for sipping espresso. It is hand carved with black glaze in the cracks and a black glaze on the inside. The red clay is unglazed and fired a little hotter to give it a stunning sheen and texture. The handle is hand painted with black and white stripes.

Size: about 2 ¼ inches (5.5 cm) wide by 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Here is a pincushion I made entirely from wool! Wool is great for keeping pins and needles from rusting. I needle felted this little cutie, sculpting its shape from loose fibers with barbed needles. It’s very firm, lightweight and fits so nicely in the hand. The top is one of my felted nests, like the ones I make brooches with. The quilting pins pictured are included! Pincushions come packaged in their own nest of tissue paper shreds in a clear plastic box tied with a ribbon, ready for gift giving. These items are made to order and may vary slightly from the image shown, but not by much :)

Designed from the shadow of a Lemongrass plant on a late summer afternoon, this Asian-inspired pendant was hand-carved from wax and cast in recycled Argentium silver. Hand-sanded to achieve a glowing satin finish, this pendant includes a black satin cord with two handmade silver clasps.

This tree in my backyard had just begun to bloom, a sign our cold New England Winter was ending. The image is protected with varnish and the outside edge is sanded smooth.
