Description:

Each Orno earring is cut from a simple plank of exotic wood, in this case Mahogany, before being carefully hand sanded and varnished. This variety of Mahogany is brazilian, however the wood is indigenous to both South America and Africa. It is well known for its rich redish brown color, which tends to darken over time. This particular earring measures around 5.5 cm in length, and is 3mm thick.

The embellishment continues around the ring. The rings are then finished with a satin fine silver finish. These rings come with their own wall display made from an altered vintage tart tin. I designed this so the rings can be enjoyed on and off the body.
