Oni is a computer animator, digital artist, and fashion model based out of Orlando, Florida. Tired of the entertainment business, Oni has decided to focus on her artwork. Her creations, inspired by traditional Japanese mythology and art, are often described as charming, whimsical, and seductive. Her character art is a glimpse at a futuristic, steam-punk world, reminiscent of a mix between Hayao Miyazaki, Katsuhiro Otomo, and Shinichiro Wantanabe. Her characters are said to be influenced by their own soundtrack of life. Using the rapid-prototyping technique, Oni has produced various vinyl toy prototypes for Dave Quiles, Spider, and Nakanari (teammates from Agi Agi), as well as digital models for major architectural projects, and mass-market toys for children’s shows. This is one of my new altered art Mexican charm bracelets. The centerpiece of this beautiful Mexican charm bracelet is a huge charm of La Virgen de Guadalupe - the Patron Saint of the Americas. The bracelet is packed with a dozen religious charms - many with tiny images of the Virgen on wood. Then I added a ton of stone, glass, acrylic and crystal beads in shades of green, plus an authentic Mexican milagro of La Virgen. There are a number of crosses throughout the bracelet. The bracelet has a toggle clasp and is nearly 8 inches long. Each bracelet is a one of a kind design.
