Description:

The image of the elf child and his lizard friend is based on an old illustration taken from an original book from 1910. We changed it and coloured it - and hope we've brought it to new life. These bags are individually printed on silk and then made by hand. This one is very special because it's made with a vintage (very vintage, I'd guess about sixty years old) turquoise silk mix Czech folk fabric - originally it was the skirt of one of the GREAT folk costumes here (you can see the type of thing on this site - our skirt was original but damaged in one or two places, which is why we felt okay about cutting it). Finished with Czech-made metallic gold double-drawstring cords and Czech glass beads. These bags can be used for tarot, or just for storing jewellery or cosmetics. They also look great on display.

Description:

These bags are individually printed on silk and then made by hand using vintage kimono backing. We think the very old kimono used in this particular version is silk (or a silk mix) combined with metallic threads. It has a really remarkable texture, a fabulous, subtle fabric that suits the illustration perfectly. The image is based on a fairytale illustration taken from an original turn of the century first edition (now out of copyright). Fully lined. These are generously sized at a touch under 8inches by 6inches. Finished with Czech -made metallic silver cords and Czech glass beads.

Description:

One of my newest designs, this is a longer, swingy necklace and a truly collectable piece featuring a handmade, sterling silver Anne Choi magnolia blossom bead as its focal point. (Bead measures 1 1/8 in. x 5/8 in. or about 28 x 16mm.) A dangling silver tulip and a deep red ruby swing freely beneath. A few inches up from the clasp is a faceted, pale watery blue aquamarine stone with tons of sparkle, it's natural and un-dyed, and huge at 18mm. The sterling silver chain is carefully oxidized and hand-polished to the perfect lightly brushed patina - I'm a nut about finish, since it makes such a huge difference in the impact of piece, and I spend a lot of time getting it just right. The hand-made Bali sterling silver clasp can be positioned at any point along the chain, which measures approximately 31 inches........
