Description:

What a GORGEOUS creme hand beaded cardigan sweater from designer Vic & Vic Haute Couture ~ made in British Hong Kong in the early 1960s. This sweaters features STUNNING machine embroidered roses and cutouts in a white on creme pattern accented with milk white beads as shown in the photographs, which brings to mind the workmanship seen in battenberg lace. There are also three rows of white beads completely surrounding the sweater bottom and sleeve cuffs. Fastens down the front with seven invisible hooks and eyes. The body of the sweater is lined with a silky white fabric ~ Sleeves are unlined. The embroidered areas are lined with sheer white voile for stability. "Vic & Vic Haute Couture" "Made in British Hong Kong" designer label. Feels like a high quality blend of lambswool and angora as was commonly used in this time period.

What a gorgeous black rayon crepe cocktail party dress ~ so Rita Hayworth.... Circa 1940s. Jet black textured rayon crepe ~ fitted bodice and long front pointed peplum are heavily embellished with swirls of jet black sequins applied soutache style. Attached buckle belt at the back waist ~ well working 22" center back metal zipper. Very flattering and chic! Classic 40s shape with a fitted bodice, nipped waist, straight skirt and long front peplum. I'd say this great dress could be worn by a modern U.S. size extra small or small, depending on how you like your fit, but please go by the measurements below. Please note the measurements are of the dress, not your figure, and leave room for fit and comfort.

This incredible skirt is rendered in thick cotton pleated fabric with harvest floral motif of beige, sage, purple, periwinkle, rose and autumn red with attached layer of black crinoline. The dantiest pleats are punctuated by equally dainty black lace at the hem. Shown here with belt, jacket, blouse and an extra crinoline slip (not included). This 1960s wool and mohair sweater dress is a deep rust color. The bodice is fitted, with the skirt flaring out below the gathered, dropped waist. The hem hits above the knee, great for wearing with boots. The lining is netting on top, and taffeta in the skirt.
