The fitted bodice has narrow straps and piping around the scoop neckline, and the full skirt is pleated below the piped waistband. The bodice of the dress is lined with a second layer of yellow cotton, while the skirt is just a single layer unlined. The dress closes in back with metal zipper. From a large group of deadstock 50's and 60's dresses we recently acquired, this darling dress, although missing its original hangtags, has never been worn, and is in near mint condition. The design of the surplice bodice is fabulous, with a notched neckline, draping diagonally across the bust, and ending at the left side of the piped waist seam, where a giant bow tucks underneath the front layer. The skirt portion of the dress is narrow, with a kick pleat for ease of walking. The lining has very minor yellowing to the fabric at the underarm area, not visible from the outside. The dress is in excellent condition. Please check the measurements, as this dress is sized for a classically 1950's hourglass figure: larger in the bust and hips, and smaller in the waist. Bust: 38-40" (C-cup probably) Waist: 28" Hip: 40" Label: Modern Miss

It reminds me of either Jackie O or Michelle Obama, First Ladies known for their excellent clothing choices! This bright blue linen dress is feminine, yet gives the impression of calm simplicity--and who doesn't need more of that? The shape of the dress skims over the body, not too fitted and not too loose. The mod-tastic design elements include: a seam at the round neckline, the v-shaped seam that defines the bodice before heading straight down the center of the skirt, and decorative pocket flaps at the hips. The dress closes with a back zipper and is unlined. Bust: 36" (measures 38" flat)

They are: Royal blue “Indescribably Delicious”, black “Once a Week Is Not Enough”, mocha “How Deep Is Your Love”, purple “Sex Machine”, aqua “Let’s Party” and burgundy “Cheek to Cheek”. The underwear have high cut legs, and probably a medium to high waist (check measurements). These are so wacky, they almost deserve to be framed and hung in the bedroom! The curved shape of the bag is echoed by the "studded" spirals adorning the textured metal plaques, both below the twisted double handles, and on the hinged clasp. The bag rests on 4 clear plastic ball feet, and is lined in purple moiré taffeta with two inner pockets, labeled "Lewsid Jewel by Llewellyn." The purse is in excellent condition, with no cracks or other issues, just very faint surface scratches from minimal use, and a bit of fading to the purple taffeta lining. Size: 9.5" wide by 5" tall, by 3" deep at the bottom. Label: Lewsid Jewel by Llewellyn
