I made up the name Mongrel artist because I've had so many influences. I paint I draw I write I listen to music. How cool is that?

I've never been able to follow a trend, so whatever style I have is my own.

Style is nothing without substance. 
What would you do if you could do everything? 
That's a scary thought. I suppose most of us would consider the ostencibly generous things like making everybody equal, or world peace, but there's something arrogant, even warlike about that. Outside of finding a good pair of shoes that fit properly, I don't know what I'd do. One should never underestimate the value of a good pair of shoes.

Favorite recent books
I recently finished Around the world in 80 days, a book I heartily recommend, Phileas Fogg the perfect English gentleman. The copy I have is from Penguin red classics, which is a beautifully presented collection of adventure stories.

 

My drink of choice
Guinness extra stout, it's got a little more bite than draught Guinness, and once upon a time people used to warm it up before drinking it.

 

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to visit Antartica, and when I have the money I will, it would be particularly good durning an eclipse. I saw some people on TV once discussing the possiblity of having to paint it white. Where they joking? Aparently, part of what the ice does is reflect radiation back out into space. If all that ice melts, the rock underneath will absorbe all that radiation. I have no idea if this is true or not.
