Ampersand Designs is owned and operated by Laura and Michelle, two crazy roommates who have been best friends for 10 years. Influenced by music of all types, a strong addiction to Rolling Stone and Vogue, watching their favorite movies too many times, and getting frustrated with never finding beautiful, eclectic, and witty jewelry, they decided to create handmade pieces themselves... thus Ampersand Designs was born... We have a firm belief that fashion should be unique and eclectic, should look past today’s obsession with emulating models and celebrities and should instead place you in the spotlight, utilize accessories and express personal style to make you the center of attention. Jewelry that sparks conversation (and maybe inspires a small sense of envy in others) is the driving factor behind any purchase and Ampersand Designs is continuing that tradition with a unique spin of its own.

What's next in line for your business? 
Ampersand Designs' collections are available now for purchase through the website (www.ampersanddesigns.com) and will expand to Bay Area boutiques in the coming months. Pieces are currently priced at under $100 but after an extremely successful order for a bridal party, Ampersand Designs now includes custom-made designs for individuals. Future pieces will include precious metals and gemstones with more charming additions to come.

With Laura in advertising and Michelle in interior design, as well as a combined flare for fashion and music, we like wearing pieces that are a representation who we are as individuals.

Wherever you see us, there is a Diet Coke not far away!

 

Where did you go for your last vacation?
We just went to Manhattan for Michelle's 27th birthday!
