Description:

This large, slim leather tote shows a forest scene of a stag and his family. I dyed the various parts of this bag with different colors of antique finish for a unique, vintage look. The picture on the front of the bag is based on one of my original drawings. The applique effect was created by carefully hand-carving and dying the leather, then cutting it out and hand-stitching it onto the leather background. I also sewed the body of the bag and strap by hand with linen thread for strength and durability. All the leather used is vegetable tanned. The lining is a copper color and it is 100% silk. The inside has one medium sized pocket, which is also lined in silk. The dimensions are: 12" tall 14" wide 30" straps

These earrings are unique and one-of-a-kind. They are made from 100% post-consumer recycled skateboard. Skateboards are made of 7 plys of maple wood, some plys are natural and some are coloured. After designing, cutting and sanding part of the skateboard to create these earrings, we then sealed them with a non-toxic clear gloss.

You are viewing a beautifully handcrafted collar necklace in leather..which was knit using my left hand and it's fingers, no needles! [I love the idea of "the self" as a tool]. The leather is a sumptuous kidskin in slate gray and is incredibly soft and lightweight to the touch. The trim is in dark brown goat lacing, and is done in a square knot macramé technique. I did this in a half knot sinnet, causing the lace to naturally twist and turn, creating a delicate contour to the necklace. The trim also provides structure, form and sturdiness to the collar.
