Description:

These Absinthe Earrings by Glamorosi feature sterling silver marcasite with a hand-wrapped fringe of semi-precious stones in intoxicating shades of green. These spirited chandeliers are composed of chrome diopside rondelles and ovals in absinthe green, chrysoprase rondelles and briolettes in crème de menthe, and tiny faceted sterling silver rounds. The earrings are hung from two-tiered Victorian-style marcasite post findings. The sterling wire used to wrap the stones was lightly oxidized to complement the marcasite, and it is slightly darker than it appears in the photo. Length: 3.25 inches

The faceted kyanite drops are accented with faceted sage green sapphire rondelles. The kyanite is cornflower blue, and its naturally shaded in a way that mimics the vintage givre glass beads. Givre is a French word meaning frost, and in jewelry design it is used to describe beads that have a second band of color within the glass. The 12mm faceted bicones are the same cornflower blue as the kyanite, and they have a subtle swirl of sage green through their middles.
