The Prince of Darkness

Description: While he's a graphic designer by trade, when Jason Nevikov launched an eponymous t-shirt line late last year, his goal was to emblazon his pieces with images that didn't look "too graphic designerly." The reason? "Understated is underrated," he says. "I guess the pervasiveness of graphic t-shirts made me feel like I wanted to make something that was still a designed printed tee, but could somehow side step the over-the-top nature of the printed shirt...sort of as if the print was more a part of the garment rather than a design applied to it."
