I've gone heart crazy! This gorgeous genuine Murano glass purple incalmo heart measures 21mm x 21mm x 10mm. I've teamed it with tiny swarovski pink and ameythst crystals which sparkle in the light. A really pretty and striking pendant. It's hung on a 16 inch sterling silver snake chain.

It is made out of African batik fabric from Nigeria in West Africa. This is known as 'Adire' which uses a traditional tie and dye method to achieve the fabric design. The pattern is acheived by sewing the fabric before it is dyed. This thread is then removed after dyeing and this gives thin wavy white lines within the green parts of the fabric. The vivid colours and crazy contrast would make this a great way to spice up an evening outfit or can be just as fun to wear more informally during the day.
