C. Late 50s to early 60s This incredible black silk brocade dress clearly shows Philip Hulitar's ability to create an amazing silhouette that has the ability to show off a women's figure with dramatic flair. The fabric's pattern is an inverted flower such as a Bleeding Heart. The very fitted bodice has these incredible wings that appear to literally take flight from the front of the shoulders. The shoulder straps are attached beneath the wings to the front and are one with the top back. Short runs of encased elastic help the shoulder straps maintain their position. The back is a deep v-line. The front bodice has a deeply incised v-line. A pleat is taken at the center front bust-line to create a shelf for the bosom further enhancing a women's shape. The bodice and skirt join a the natural waistline. The narrow skirt has pleats taken right and left of center front.

c. 1960s Wonderful medium gray wool tweed dress and matching coat with silver tip fox cuffs and matching hat. The dress is a sleeveless sheath with high slightly draped neckline. Princess seaming with side slit pockets left and right of center front. The coat has a high collar on the left and as it extends around to the right, the collar lengthens into the scarf. The coat is seamed and tucked for a stylish silhouette. The coat closes up center front with large covered buttons. The sleeves are long to wrist and have wide silver tip fox cuffs.

c. 1960s Lillie Ann wool jersey knit dress accented in white piping with matching cape. Slightly open, banded neckline and long sleeves accented with white buttons and piping. Matching white wool jersey is used at the waistline also. The dress is a shift style with straight lines. The matching cape has slits for the arms to pass thought and is accented in the same matching white wool jersey. The cape is lined in black rayon.

C.1970s Yves Saint Laurent haute couture evening gown with the gowns number printed on the label. The gown is also labeled Paris. The gown does not have the buyers name so this dress was never sold. The evening gown is black lace through the bodice and below the natural waist and then a full flounce of white lace. The black lace is over an attached inner slip of black China silk and the white lace flounce is over white silk organza. The bodice is fully boned. The attached silk slip has a side seam zipper beneath the outer dress zipper both located at the side seam.
