CRAYON SKULL SCULPTURE by Herb Williams ITEM NUMBER 42211 $3,600.00 Most of us have outgrown our Crayolas by the time we hit puberty. Happily, Herb Williams never did. A sculptor who ingeniously uses crayons as his medium, Williams creates works that are not only strikingly beautiful but playfully allude to serious cultural icons—like Damien Hirst's controversial diamond-and-platinum encrusted cranium. There's also that unmistakably happy smell, of course, and a palette that can't help but pop. Signed by the artist on verso, dated and titled with edition numbers. Cleat mounted for flush wall hanging. Made of cut silver and multicolored crayons, wood and two-part epoxy resin. 16" x 10" x 4". Please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery.

Woohoo, Glamour’s got a new blogger for Fashion Week! We love her because she’s smart, funny and can write a mean sentence. But here are some of the things you’ve said about her: “the most gorgeous woman,” “the embodiment of modern beauty,” “truly glamorous and inspiring” and “OMG!!! Unbelievable!” So who is this awe-inspiring person? Meet Crystal Renn, 23, fashion fanatic and author of the book Hungry, about her experiences going from starving straight-size model to happy, healthy and hugely successful plus-size one (she’s a 12, which as we’ve written is considered “plus”; I know, it’s nuts). She recently appeared on the cover of V, made the front page of the New York Times' style section and took over a good chunk of our own February issue, photographed by Norman Jean Roy. Here she is, dazzling in Dolce:

Girls and guys, get ready to rumble. RumbaTime is a new watch company selling streamlined, silicon watches in a rainbow of colorful hues from a pale lavender to a candy-apple red. Started by three college buddies Drew Deters, Jay Hartington, and Joe Anto, the watch fits the lifestyle of those who prefer the active outdoors as well as seasoned Manhattanites. For vendors wishing to carry them, they will also donate a number of watches to that retailer's charity of choice. As Jay says, "With our watch, checking the time becomes a reminder to lighten up, have some fun, and focus on what's truly important." And did we mention they're only $20 each? We'll take two, please!

Recently, we were interviewed by a magazine (can't say who it is yet, article hasn't come out) and asked what the Must Have bags for 2010 are. This Fendi City Hobo with zipper details is one of them, hands down without a doubt, this bag is going to be huge. It probably won't show up on every editorial layout but this is the easy to use trend piece that will sell. As we transition out of studs (euphemism for sick and tired of), we are still needing bold hardware details and Fendi strikes it hot here. The hobo is already a mighty functional shape but add in those 2 large outer pockets and you got yourself a bag you can live out of. At Net-a-Porter for a friendly $1180.

We already know that the Chanel brand wants to conquer your nails, lips, purses, and—with the advent of Chanel's temporary tattoos—the top layers of your epidermis, so what surface will Chanel conquer next? How about your forehead? Art student Ryan McSorley thinks so. In his final project for a product design class at Central Saint Martins, Ryan created Skin by Chanel, a collection of skincare standbys including a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, but with an unexpected addition: There's also a headband that imprints the double C's on your forehead, cheek, or facial surface of choice. If his prediction about the future of extreme branding ever comes true, people won't have to ask you what moisturizer you're using—the answer will be written on your face. (Notcot)
