Vuya Raratabu

Vuya  (above right) is a young designer who’s been blessed with a god given artistry talent. She attended Deane Grammar School in England, where her arts and graphics communications classes triggered the attention of her creative talent. This interest of hers grew more in 1997, becoming commercialized in 1999 after she won her first bridal award at the Fiji Red Cross premier design awards. She has won several other awards thereafter for both Fashion and Business. Vuya produces attires for all age groups and both agendas; and is inspired by her passion for the Arts and Culture heritage, which explains the use of natural fibres and materials like masi and magimagi in her work.
