Ivory lace & satin 1950's shorts with zippers. One of the more unusual garments I have seen lately, these 1950's "Bermuda" shorts are made of ivory lace over heavy-weight satin, with large, gold metal side zippers on each side, all the way from the waist to the hem! The relatively formal fabric, juxtaposed with the rather risqué zippers, makes these shorts unique. I'm not sure what purpose being able to unzip your shorts from waist to hem may have, but it is interesting. They are quite high waisted, and fitted through the waist, hip and thigh, to just above the knee on our mannequin. These shorts would be great (and humorous) to wear to a casual wedding, rehearsal dinner or wedding shower. Waist: 24" Hip: 34" Outseam length: 23" Inseam length: 12"

Pretty pink and blue flowers beaded flowers decorate this 1950's pearly white glass beaded evening purse. The front of the purse has a more elaborate flower design than the back, and rows of tiny pink and blue glass beads trim the gold metal frame, and the cute, round clasp pull. The handle is a gold metal "snake" chain, and the lining is ivory satin. Inside, the purse has a small fabric tag (loose on one side) stating "Made in France," and one slip pocket. Size: 5" tall by 9" wide, with a 12" chain Label: Made in France
