The olive and purple silk of this late 30's or very early 40's dress has a print of leaping deer and abstract flowers. The fabric is quite fine, a lightweight silk, with a feel almost like lingerie. The front and the back of the dress are each decorated with small bows. In front, a bow ties the "keyhole" opening closed, gathering the fabric below the v-neckline. In back, the fabric across the hips is softly gathered into the bow, creating a modified "bustle" effect. The waist seam comes to a point in the center front and another point above the bow in the back. The long sleeves have puffed shoulders, but no shoulder pads, and snaps at the wrists. Bust: 34-36" Ribcage: 30" Waist: 28-29" Hip: 34-36"

The vibrant hot pink and purple floral nylon of this late 1960's nightgown is semi-sheer. The sexy, deeply scooped empire bodice is gathered in the center with a decorative bow. The bodice above the empire seam is lined with "nude" nylon, while the rest of the gown is unlined. Below the bust, the nightgown flares outward towards the hem. This bright nightgown is almost too pretty to wear only at home, although the label is "Sleeping Pretty". Bust: 36" Under bust seam: 28-32" (fabric has some stretch to it) Hip: free

Purple & lilac cotton strapless 1950's wiggle dress with side drape and matching fringed stole. This fabulous 1950's strapless bombshell dress is made of deep purple and pale lilac cotton, with a matching purple and lilac stole. The dress will show off an hourglass figure, with a sexy, surplice, sweetheart neckline, a fitted waist, and a glamorous side drape at the left hip. A triangular piece of lilac cotton is inset on the left side, so that this section of the skirt is full from hip to hem, while the rest of the skirt is a pencil shape. In back the dress is plain purple fabric, with no kick pleat. The strapless bodice is boned, to help keep its shape. The stole has purple cotton on one side and lilac on the other, with lilac fringe at each end. It is quite wide and long, so it will easily wrap around the body. Both pieces are in very good condition. Bust: 37-38" Waist: 28-29" Hip: 38-39"

Gorgeous garnet rayon velvet and an unusual draped, square neckline make this late 1940's cocktail dress something special. The deep square neckline has two folds of fabric starting at the padded shoulders and draping softly over the bust. The bodice is fitted with two pleats on each side, and the skirt is gathered into the waist seam for a bit of fullness as it falls to the hem. Bust: 36-38" Waist: 30" Hip: up to 40" Length: 46"

These adorable 1940's ankle-strap, peep-toe sandals are half violet and half lilac leather, with pink and purple metallic leather appliqués! Rather jaw dropping, actually. The lilac peep-toe vamps have violet leaf-shaped appliqués edged in pink, and the violet chunky heels have pink leaf appliqués. The ankle straps have violet on one side of the center buckle and lilac on the other, and in back, over the elastic is a tiny, metallic pink leather heart--as if they weren't already cute enough! The small platform is covered in violet leather. The shoes are marked a vintage size 7M, or around a modern size 6 to 7 narrow. The insole measures 9.5" from heel to toe, and the sole is 3" wide at the ball of the foot. The heels are 3" high with a .5" platform. Mark: Gainsborough, Miami Beach, FLA
