Early 1950s minimalist black gabardine sleeveless dress

This forest green wool gabardine ladies suit most likely dates to the late 1940's, due to its longer-length skirt and jacket and its very large shoulder pads. The jacket has curving lapels, turned-back cuffs and decorative pocket flaps (no pockets), is fitted through the waist, and has a double row of gold metal and green fabric-covered buttons. The skirt has a button at the waistband and a metal side zipper, and slits near the hem at each side seam. This fabulous 40's suit just needs a tilted hat and some platform heels, and you'll be ready for your film noir debut! Bust: 34" (measures 36" flat) Waist: 26" Hip: up to 34"

You'll be cute and ready for action wearing this 1950's navy rayon gabardine bowling/uniform dress! The button-front bodice has a monogram (MLA) at the left shoulder, small shoulder pads, and is fitted with darts at the waist. Below the matching belt, a metal zipper is hidden underneath the packet, allowing you to easily step into (and out of) the dress. The skirt flares slightly to the hem, and large diagonal pockets at each hip and short, cuffed sleeves complete the simple and sporty look. The dress is in excellent condition.
