Welsh designer, Julien Macdonald, is known for bringing pizzazz and bling to his collections through the use of luxurious fabrics and sexy cuts. Prior to creating his own line he worked for the House of Chanel and then became Creative Director for Givenchy, Paris replacing Alexander McQueen. This 1930's Old Hollywood inspired gown is clearly representative of Macdonald's signature talent. Gown boasts thousands of hand sewn tiny gold pailletes and bugle bead overlay on bias cut silk. Halter style; cut-out shoulders and flirty sleeves, not to mention the low seductive back, are all distinctive features reminiscent of the glamour of 1930's Hollywood. Plunging neckline and high front slit create a sexy and glamorous silhouette that puddles, like liquid gold, onto the floor. Gown is fully lined in silk.
