Bree Kiddey, an Australian designer is the creative mind behind Bim Kenesis, a fun clothing line with feminine and cool looking designs. This line is full with eclectic, playful pieces that are funky and sexy. Bree lets her imagination go wild as her collections have very distinct themes to them. Her Spring/Summer 2006 Collection, which is still in stores now, is called "The Delicate Magician". It was inspired by magician and illusion tricks. That explains the voluminous silhouettes and hypnotizing prints in this collection. Her Fall 2006 Collection is a little more subdued which is perfect for fall.

Ash & Diamonds is a women's brand coming out of Japan. While it's rare to get great glitzy streetwear brands from Japan to make it out the US, I found Ash & Diamonds at Aloha Rag and Patricia Field. Here are some rhinestone embellished small purses that are perfect from clubbing.

Came across some new tees at Triumvr. I'm liking the 'fuck your clique' tee, and the black-on-black pirate one as well. They should be ready to drop late Dec or early Jan. More info at Triumvr.

I'm liking these hoods and tees (though I'd never personally wear the pink one...a bit too loud for me!). The face tee strangely reminds me of Rejected, the Bitter Films classic animated short. For that alone it gets my seal of approval, because dammit, my spoon is too big...

Terratag is a streetwear line from London designed by Paul Nicholson, and it's inspired by everything Japan (and from the looks of it, Gundam Wing had a big part in that Japanese inspiration).

Kind of cutesy yet well done tees from France, La Fraise creates some pretty unique designs that kind of run the border between Paris streetwear and geek-chic. However you look at it though, the money in the mousetrap tee (pictured center) is fucking sick...too bad they don't ship to the USA! They only ship to Europe and Japan. Weird that they're using American $100 bills in the tee I like even though they don't ship here...I guess hip hop's constant use of the word 'benjamins' has permeated the world's collective representation of money.

Talla, named after the designer herself, is a collection of hand printed clothing and accessories based out of San Francisco. Her clothing has a distinct look to it which comes from her inspiration - patterns and repitition found in nature. The outcome of her line is vibrant graphics and beautiful designs ranging from flowy femimine tops to slightly edgier streetwear prints.

Some cool tops over at Spicy Brown's Kokeshi Ink store. They also carry lots of other Japanese inspired gear, but some goes more into geek-chic territory which is kind of hit and miss. I especially like the Sakura hoodie pictured above!

Lately, while I've been shopping local stores for unique brands and items I've been coming across Luxirie hoodies. As you know Luxirie is a new line of women's wear by l-r-g, a men's streetwear brand out of LA. While attending "Pulse", an urban streetwear trade show at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago a couple years back, I spoke with an l-r-g sales rep to get a better understanding of the brand and their style. They seem pretty true to their style and have a limited amount of their product on the market. I think they're great and haven't been played out like many of the other streetwear brands.

Usually thought of as just an accessory to wear on the slopes of Tahoe, layerable vests are making a huge comeback this season. They are being still being made out of the traditional nylon/down combo, but now designers are taking them to the next level in fabrics. They can now be purchased in knits, plaids, silks, and cotton. Vests are versatile and perfect for a city one needs to wear layers in. If you're looking for a vest for this winter, check out IntermixOnline.com. And if you're looking for more affordable vests, check out Bluefly.com. Both have great styles and price options to fit anyone's budget.

KahriAnne Kerr believes that everyone should be able to dress in hot, affordable clothing. This young designer custom sews each of her pieces. I love these big adjustable belts by Kahri becuase you can wear them as a waist belt or as a hip belt. Big belts have been in style for years now, and there is no end of the trend slowing down anytime soon. They are great quality, and made by the rebellious hands of a passionate designer.

Glossy black leather, metal studs, gold hardware, dangling charms, and crystals make Bracher Emden's Right Holster Bag a hot handbag for this season's edgier punk rock look. The bag is intricately detailed from the exterior to the interior of the purse. It is the perfect accessory for your black distressed skinny jeans and glossy black leather stilettos. This is an eye catching bag and sure to make a statement.

Masi Silver Jewelry is a breath of fresh air in today's market of pricey, over-loaded, loud, plastic, punk and eighties accessory jewelry. Masi Jewelry is not delicate, but it is refined and has the appeal of sturdiness and bulk to it. Thin "liquid" strands of silver make up a wide braided ring or a hefty necklace. Or a large piece of sterling silver may be pounded to make a silver cuff.

New fall styles are in and are bolder than last season. Denim has gotten a lot darker and has an urban street rocker's edge to it this season. Clothing lines have reinvented the skinny jean with more stretch that will flatter any figure. They have cropped the leg to give your shoes more exposure. And they hiked up the skirts to reveal elongated sexy legs. The season might be getting colder, but you're going to look hot.
