Miawi will use second-hand clothing sourced in Malawi as the basis for their range combining these reclaimed fabrics with traditional Malawian textiles; they also intend to use the manufacture of their clothing as a basis for creating fair-trade co-operatives in the region. Not surprisingly Miawi chose recycling pioneers Junky Styling as their business mentor; after meeting the team and hearing their pitch Junky saw the huge potential to develop an innovative and exciting concept into a successful business and so begins a beautiful relationship.
