Aliens-Inspired Bike - The Speed Racer by Dan Bailey (GALLERY) [Edit] Aliens-Inspired Bike - The Speed Racer by Dan Bailey (GALLERY) The Speed Racer bike concept is the brainchild of Dan Bailey. The bike integrates alien technology into the design of this motorcycle. Actually, Bailey was inspired by the Aliens movie franchise for the Speed Racer aesthetics. Using the specifications of the Kawasaki Ninja as point of departure, Baily sought to create an aerodynamic design that was rugged and tough but also chic and sleek. I don’t know whether this bike will ever go into production but Bailey was quite successful in creating a sleek, sweet-looking, futuristic ride worthy of the Batman movies or any other bike-riding superhero you can think of. Photos of Killer Heels - Cruel Designer Shoes We’ve seen some innovative shoe designs, but these are truly wicked. Ladies, you think you have a pair of shoes that kills? Unless you’ve worn some of these, you can’t complain about having a tortured sole. The gallery features vicious high heels by Rodarte, Antonio Berardi, Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs‘ red and seafoam green pumps have a similar effect, the heel looking oddly misplaced. Alexander McQueen‘s black shoes look geisha inspired with their dual heels and minimal support. Rodart‘s golden heels would make more some painful footsie as they’re covered in pointy spikes; gents, may I suggest if your woman is clad in these at dinner, do not make comments on the way she eats or tell her the dress she’s wearing isn’t her most flattering.

Antonio Berardi‘s snake skin and patent black peep-toes force the feet upward as if they were on a heel, but the sandal fails to have any stem support, leaving the heel suspended in mid air.
