Telegraph Zac Posen

Zac Posen: New York Fashion Week. His finale featured four gowns, hand-painted and shadow-dyed in tones from palest aquamarine to deep cobalt. With names such as Nimbus, Cumulus and Cyclone, these dresses were as bold and dramatic as a thunder-clap, shot with lightning shafts of colour and extravagant shapes. Necklines plunged, both back and front, arms were encased in massive, puffed sleeves and the silhouette was tight to the torso, billowing out into a huge, fishtail which drifted along the floor or a cloud of fabric from knee to ankle.
