i am a paper artist and artisan living in montreal. i have always loved making things. i cannot really remember a time when i wasnt making things whether they be made out of paper, metal or clay. after university, i studied ceramics, jewelry and bookbinding. all throughout, i have held down several part-time jobs. it was only recently (february 2006) when the framing store i worked at closed, that i began to shift my mind around the idea of doing what i love for a living. to be honest, i was hesitant. i was on the verge of looking for another part-time job, when things started falling into place. unexpected opportunities came knocking and i opened the door without thinking. i think sometimes you really do get what you need. so here i am making a living doing what i love.
